    How can I become an IAS officer after completing B.E.?

    hi friends.
    Now i am doing my BE 3rd year. i want to become a IAS still i
    don't know any one way to become IAS. so please help me.
    what can i do after my degree? thanks

    I.A.S --- INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES


    As you have completed B.E you no need to Worry

    The minimum qualification must be GRADUATION

    Graduation may be of any Stream

    And the minimum age must be 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed 30 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates





    You must be an Indian Citizen

    And the Selection Process is given below ...


    <> Written Test

    <> Personal Interview

    <> Medical Test ...

    • Once you complete the B.E degree then you can apply for the civil services examination for IAS.
    • This examination is conducted by the UPSC everyyear and it requires graduation as per qualification.
    • The age which is required for it must be between 21 years to 30 years.
    • The age relaxations is given in upper age limit for the reserved category as per the notification.
    • This examination has total three stages which are Preliminary examination, main examination and interview.

    Hi,

    You can become IAS officer by qualifying IAS exam conducted by UPSC.

    You can apply for IAS exam after completing your graduation i.e. B. E.

    You can apply for IAS exam , if you fulfil all the eligibility criteria required, as-

    You should be a graduate from a recognised university.

    Your age should be between 21 years to 30 years.

    UPSC notifies about the exam in all the leading newspapers .

    You can apply to it by filling the application form.

    You can get the application form from any of the post offices or bankjs specified in the notification.

    Then you will have to send it the Union Public Service Commission’s address, which is given the notification.

    The IAS exam is conducted in three successive stages.

    1. Preliminary Exam

    2. Main Exam

    3. Interview.

    The pattern of the exam is –

    Hello friend,
    IAS(Indian Administrative Service) is the most prestigious service of India. It is conducted by Union Public Service Commission ones in every year. To become an IAS officer a candidate must fulfill the following conditions.

    Academic Qualification: A candidate must have bachelor degree or equivalent to it (B.A B.Com, B.SC B.E/B.Tech etc) in any stream with 60% marks from any recognized university. Candidate who are in final year also apply the exam. candidate must have Indian Citizenship.

    Age-limit: A candidate must complete 21 years of his/her age when she/he apply the exam.
    General Category candidates can attempt the exam till 30 years of his/her age.
    OBC candidates can attempt the exam till 33 years of his/her age.
    SC/ST candidates can attempt the exam till 30 years of his/her age.

    No of attempts: General Category students can attempt the exam four times up-to 30 years.
    OBC Category students can attempt the exam four times up-to 30 years.
    There is no limit for SC/ST category students to attempt the exam.

    Exam Pattern: There are three stages in IAS exam.
    1)Preliminary Exam (Totally Objective) 2)Descriptive/Mains Exam 3)Interview.

    You to Become a IAS Officer then you apply UPSC Exam. UPSC Stands for Union Public Service commission under the civil service exam this exam is conducted by every year.

    Eligibility Criteria For Indian Administrative Service Exam:-

    -->The Candidate should be complete or Pursuing the Bachelor degree or Engineering degree in recognized university and there is no minimum percentage of mark for this examination and final year of the student's only eligible for this examination so now you can also apply this examination but you clear the preliminary exam after main exam you submit the education qualification certificate into the office.

    -->The candidate should be citizen of india or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.

    -->Both Male and female candidates are eligible for this examination

    -->The Candidate age limit should between 21 to 30 year and upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and obc Candidates.

    -->The Candidate should be physically fit for the IAS Physical Standards.

    Exam Pattern;-

    >>Preliminary Exam:- This is an objective type exam for 400 marks with negative marking for wrong answers and it have two papers one is general studies 200 marks and 120 mins and another one is paper II(CSAT) and it is also 200 mark and 120 mins. an extra time of 20 mins each paper will be given to blind Candidates.

    >>Main Exam:- This is consists of a written examination for 1800 marks an a personality test for 275 marks.

    You have to get qualified in civil services exam to become an IAS Officer.

    CSAT Exam
    Civil Services Main Exam
    Interview

    You should have completed Graduation to be eligible to apply for this exam.

    Your age should be between 21-30 years to apply for this exam.

    check whether you are eligible and apply and crack it.

    These exam is the one of the Tuffest exam and the exam is conducted by the UPSC.


    Educational Qualification :

    A degree from any recognized university with any stream.

    The candidates who are awaiting for the results of final year are also eligible.


    Nationality :

    Only Indians are eligible for IAS or IPS.


    AGE Limit :

    A candidate must have the 21 years and not be over of 30 years.

    The upper age limit is relax-able to the special categories as,

    OBC - 3 years

    SC/ST/PH - 5 years

    Upto 10 years in the case of blind,deaf-mute and orthopaedically handicapped candidates.

    First I will suggest you to choose the optional subjects for civil services main exam.

    Stat preparation for them.

    Apply for CSAT Exam.

    Crack this exam. IT will consists of General Awareness, English and aptitude.

    B.Tech people can easily qualify in this exam.

    Then take the main exam and next Interview

    In this way you can become IAS Officer.

    You score should be very high in the Written Exam to be placed in IAS.

    * Since you are a pre final year student, you must start your preparation very soon….!

    * Refer books like RS Aggarwal, Frontline, The Hindu, CSR, Previously solved question papers of CSAT and main exams…!

    * Strive hard with great toil to achieve your dream called IAS…!

    * The stream doesn’t matter …. You have to be graduate in any discipline from recognized university…!

    * You cannot have any standing arrears in your subjects..!

    * You have to be a graduate degree holder at the time of appearing in the Interview..

    * The eligible criteria are
    -> You must be a Indian citizen
    -> Must be a graduate or final year student going to complete graduation
    -> Must satisfy age requirements of 21 to 30 years of age…!

    * Upper age limit is relaxable upto 3 years for BC candidates and upto 5 years for SC and ST graduates…!

    * The number of attempts one can appear for this exam also varies depending upon the caste you belong to…!

    * Any number of attempts is allowed for SC and ST students

    To become an IAS officer you have to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exams.

    UPSC Civil Services Exams are held in three stages: Prelims
    MAINS
    Interview

    Minimum eligibilty to apply for the UPSC Civil Services exams is:
    Education: Graduation pass in any stream from a recognized university
    No minimum percentage of marks is required in Graduation

    Age- Minimum 21 years
    Maximum 30 years
    OBC can apply till 33 years
    SC/ST can apply till 35 years

    Attempts:
    General- 4 times
    OBC-7 times
    SC/ST-No Restrictions
