    How can I appear in IFS exam while pursuing 12th science?

    sir
    i want to know the necessary steps i should take
    for writing the ifs (indian foreign service) exam.
    i am a plus two science student.
    kindly tell me immediately

    Sorry , now you are not eligible for IFS exam because minimum educational qualifications is bachelor degree at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Statistics Botany, Chemistry, Geology,Mathematics, Physics and Zoology....



    IFS stands for Indian Forest Service.


    This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission once in the every year......


    Eligibility and Criteria:-


    A candidate who hold the Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Statistics Botany, Chemistry, Geology,Mathematics, Physics and Zoology from recognized universities are eligible for this exam....

    OR


    Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognized university or equivalent.....

    Final year bachelor degree students also eligible for this exam....

    There is no any percentage criteria..

    A candidate must be a citizen of India...


    Age Limit :-


    General Age Limit is 21-30 years. but there is relaxation is available for reserved category....

    Relaxation on Upper Age:-


    For OBC category : up to 33 years..

    For SC/ST category : up to 35 years..

    For PH/PWD : up to 40 years..


    Attempt Criteria:-

    General attempt 4 times.

    OBC candidate can max. 7 times.

    For SC/ST no any restriction.

    If you want to apply for the IFS or Indian Foreign Service exams than first complete your Graduation
    Just after passing class 12th you cannot apply for this exams

    For the IFS post you need to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exams

    Minimum eligibilty to apply for the UPSC Civil Services exams is:
    Education: Graduation pass in any stream from a recognized university
    No minimum percentage of marks is required in Graduation

    Age- Minimum 21 years
    Maximum 30 years
    OBC can apply till 33 years
    SC/ST can apply till 35 years

    Attempts/Chances: UPSC has also fixed number of attempts
    General- 4 times
    OBC-7 times
    SC/ST-No Restrictions

    UPSC Civil Services Exams are held in three stages:
    Prelims
    MAINS
    Interview

    Hello Friend,

    IFS is Indian Forest Service(IFS) is a recruitment examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).

    You told that you are currently in Class XII. So you are not yet eligible for IFS examination.


    A candidate needs to fulfill following eligibility criteria for being eligible in IFS examination.

    1. Candidate have to pass Graduation from any recognized University in the following subjects:

    Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics,Botany, Zoology,Statistics,Agriculture Engineering,Forestry Engineering,Veterinary Science, Civil Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering.

    2. Age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years old on or before 1st July on the year of Examination. 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC?ST candidates. 5 years age relaxation for Ex-service mans.

    3. Only citizen of India or subject to Nepal or Bhutan can apply for IFS.

    4. General Candidate can apply for IFS maximum 4 times, OBC candidate can apply for 7 times, no restriction for SC/ST candidates.


    SELECTION PROCESS:

    1. Written Test(1400 marks).

    2. Interview(300 marks).

    Question Pattern:

    Written test consists of total 6 papers

    Paper I contains General English of 300 marks

    Paper II contains General Knowledge of 300 marks.

    Rest of papers from Paper III to Paper VI contains any two subjects of candidate's choice contains 200 marks in each section.

    The eligibility criteria for IFS(Indian forest service) are the followings-

    Age limit-
    • 21-30 years on the 1st July of the year of examination
    • there is age relaxation for the people of reserved category.

    Educational qualification-
    • candidate should have a bachelor's degree in one of the following subjects namely animal husbandry and veterinary science,botany,chemistry,geology,mathematics,physi cs,statistic and zoology or a bachelor's degree in agriculture or forestry of engineering of a recognized university

    scheme of the examination-
    • written exam -(conventional type)


    • paper I -general English (300 marks)
    • paper II-general knowledge (300 marks)

    • paper III,IV,V and VI any two subjects selected from the list of optional subject...each subject will have two paper.(200 marks for each paper)

    Sorry to say, Your are not eligible for the exam..

    Eligibility criteria for IFS examination :

    1. Nationality : A citizen of India.

    2. Age limit :
    General category candidate : minimum 21 to 30 years candidates are eligible..
    OBC category candidates : 3 years age relaxation.
    SC/ST category candidate : 5 years age relaxation

    3. Education Qualification :

    A candidate must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

    4. No of attempts :

    maximum 4 attempts are allowed at the IFS examination.
    OBC candidates have 7 attempts.
    No restriction for SC/St candidates..

    IFS(Indian forest Services)entrance exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.this is the part of CIVIL SERVICES.

    The minimum qualification is required a graduate from the recognized University.

    The age for General: 21-30 years, relaxations for OBC: 3 years, S/c S/T: 5 years, PWD: 10 years.

    Nationality: Indian.

    Attempts: General: 4 attempts, OBC: 7 attempts, S/c S/T: No limit.

    In Graduation you should have subjects like Botany/Physics/Chemistry..

    As per IFS eligibility you can not appear /pursue UPSC IFS entrance examination with the qualification 12th science.For this purpose you have to complete
    Graduate degree following above eligibility.

    Indian Foreign Service Examination is called Indian Civil Service Examination where IFS post is the highest rank in this examination and only those candidates get IFS rank who qualify examination with the highest score and remember that only top 30 highest scorers are selected for IFS post in Indian Civil Service Examination and other candidates who qualify examination and other process will get another rank or job but only top 30 will get for IFS and after getting this rank you will be sent to get the training of about 3 years in various institutes of India and Foreign and after passing training you will be called to serve the country in foreign countries

    To apply for this examination, you should posses a graduate degree in any stream from a reputed university or institute and your age should be between 21-30 years and relaxation in upper age as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

    This examination conducted once a year in two sections - Preliminary and Main Examination where the examination pattern is following for this exam

    Preliminary Examination - Paper I - General Studies - 200 marks and Paper II is based on CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test for 200 marks and both papers will be conducted in objective type pattern and passing in prelims is compulsory

    Main Examination - Following papers will be conducted in descriptive type pattern

    Paper I - Section I Essay Writing for 200 marks and Section II - English Comprehension - 100 marks

    Paper II, III, IV and V based on General Studies - 250 marks each

    Paper VI and VII - Based on the selected optional subject that you will choose form the list - 250 marks each

    Personality Test - 275 marks

    Physical and Medical Standards test - Passing is necessary according to the required standards

    No,Only graduates are eligible to apply for IFS exam.

    After your graduation,you can apply for it.

    It is conducted by UPSC.
    Eligibility Criteria for IFS exam:

    .Must Pass the graduation from recognized university.
    .Must be citizen of India.

    Age Limit:

    For Open Category:21-30 years
    For OBC Category:21-33 years
    For ST/SC Category:21-35 years

    You can't apply for IFS exam after completing 12th, atleast degree completed candidates can apply
    The degree must be in the subjects related to forests like Biotechnology, agriculture engineering, B.Sc agriculture etc
    The age of the candidates must be above 21 years and below 20 years
    Also age relaxations of the candidates must be
    OBC - 3 years
    SC, ST - 5 years
    The number of times writing the exam are
    OC - 4times
    OBC - 7times
    SC, ST - can write till age permits
