    In order to become scientist in ISRO or DRDO first you need to do lots of work.Complete your class 10th with good marks,chose science stream in 11th.Once you chose it,it will be subjects for whole life.In 12th you get option like what you want to study Either Physics,chemistry & Maths or Physics,Biology & chemistry.Once chose complete your 12th with good percentage.After completing 12th you have to clear graduation either you do it In Bsc or B.tech or B.E. Chose any of the subjects complete your graduation with good percentage.You may ned to face entrance exam if you go for BTECH or BE.Once graduation complete then you will have to post graduation like MSC,MTECH or ME.In order to do post graduation you must need to clear entrance exam.Once complete post graduation with at least 60%, you are now eligible for Scientist exam.In order to go in DRDO or ISRO you will have to face entrance exam.
    You have 11 years to reach there,within these time prepare your mind for that & understand each & every subjects perfectly.

    Dear friend,

    On the behalf of the Class 6th you can’t become a Scientist because to become a scientist you should be well knowledgeable person in the math’s, physics and chemistry. So, this will be done when you study non Medical in class 12th. Then after try to take admission in IIT’s , then you will be in scientist line.

    Or also you give the NTSE exam, Math’s Olympiad test which help you to become scientist.

    Best of luck

    It is simply not possible for a 6th class student to join ISRO or DRDO.Do not be so ambitious right now.First of complete your 10th board with good marks and get admission in good school or college in science stream.Complete you 12th class with good marks and also make yourself eligible in gettin admission in good colleges for b.tech course in avaition or aeronautuics.After completing the graduation with good academic performance,you could be eligible to appear the entrance exam conducted to get entry in ISRO & DRDO.Till then start the preparation right now.Have a great future.

    Dear friend,

    Now you are very young and you are interested to join ISRO and DRDO. So I would like to suggest you that first of all complete your all academic qualification with good percentage with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as your main subjects. After class 12 try to qualify in exams like IIT, AIEEE, JEE e.t.c because if you will qualify in these exams then you will get a chance to do B.Tech from top most colleges in India. After your B.Tech you can join ISRO and DRDO. So you have a long time so try to improve your knowledge as much as you can.

    To get the post of SCIENTIST in ISRO (OR) DRDO ,

    ** Firstly , You should complete 10th

    **Later , it is better to pursue ENGINEERING to become a scientist DRDO or ISRO

    After 12th , you can apply for the Entrance exams for ENGINEERING , like

    --> AIEEE
    --> IIT-JEE
    --> State engineering entrance exams

    If you secure a good rank in entrance exam , then surely you will get an admission in an Good Engineering college

    Later , you can take anyone of the following stremas in Engineering to bcome a SCIENTIST in ISRO or in DRDO

    ~~ Mechncal
    ~~ Civil
    ~~ EEE
    ~~ ECE , etc.

    Actully , for these stream passed outs , there will have more posts when comared to other stream candidates

    ** Remember , if you want to apply for the post of SCIENTIST , then you should have a minimum of 65% in your b.tech

    ISRO - INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION

    DRDO - DEFENCE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ORGAISATION

    The selction process for both the caompanies is same . (for NON-GATE RANK)

    1)Written exam
    2)Personnel interview

    If you are GATE RANKER , then you will have an interview in the company
    you no need to write ENTRANCE EXAM

    I am glad to listen that you have decided your goal so early and you have passion to become scientist. But always remember that passion must be with patience.

    Now you hvae in 6th standard. So I inform you that you go for completing your 12th with science stream. You can get in to ISRO after successfully completing your 12th class.

    But now you can visit various science exhibition and read books about science. I am providing you information about ISRO.

    isro.jpg

    ISRO is the Government Organisation which is the Primary body of the space research organisation. Getting job is ISRO is not the easiest way to get in to it.

    After 12th you can join IIST which offers admission through an entrance test called ISAT. IIST is the only institute in India which offers admission to Btech for carrying studies in space research.

    IIST(Indian institute of space science and technology )is located at Thiruanantapuram. It conducts a entrance examination called ISAT (IIST admission test).

    Eligibility criteria for IIST

    - You must be citizens of India.

    - You must have passed their 12th or equivalent examination with a score of at least 70% and with PCM.

    Re: How to become a scientist with ISRO or DRDO being a 6th standard CBSE student?

    Dear friend,

    --> As you are now in 6th Standard in CBSE Board.

    --> So, you should first pass your High School Examination (10th) with good marks.

    --> Then, you will get two streams after passing 10th, Science and Commerce Stream.

    --> It is recommended for you to choose Science Stream that is required for becoming Scientist.

    --> Now, you can choose here Biology or Mathematics i.e. PCB or PCM.

    --> I would suggest you to choose PCM Stream, because there will be more chances for you to join ISRO and DRDO after choosing PCM Stream.

    --> Now, for Board Exams of Intermediate, you will have to bring at least 60% marks or above to appear in Entrance Exams of good colleges.

    --> If you qualified Entrance Exams with good rank, then you will get selected for admission in IITs, BITS, NITs, etc.

    --> These colleges are very good colleges and entrance exams are like JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, etc. for admission to these colleges.

    --> Now, if your admission is in good college, then surely your placement will be at good place.

    --> After doing graduation, you can apply for entrance exam of DRDO or ISRO.

    --> Also, during recruitment, you can get job in DRDO or ISRO if these companies visit your campus and you are selected luckily.
