Before getting admission in any of the engineering colleges.
You must have to study in MPC stream before joining the engineering,You must have to appear for written exam conducted by the universities like:
--> EAMCET
--> VIT
--> IIT
--> AIEEE
Etc.........
And you have to qualify the above entrance test a get a good qualifying marks and get a seat in affliated universities.
And on your own interest you can choose your path to become an engineer. some of the various engineering branches are:
ELECTRICAL AND COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING
ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
CIVIL ENGINEERING
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING
MARINE ENGINEERING
AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING
etc...

Dear you must have a liking for a specific field of engineering as we all know that apart from the traditional branches which include Civil, Mechanical and Electrical, engineering offers a vista of branches and specialization options. One can opt for B.E/ B.Tech in the disciplines of Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Chemical, Aeronautic,Automobile, Ceramics, Environmental, Textile, Marine, Production engineering etc. Admission to the engineering courses is usually done on the basis of merit in the entrance exams ( like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, WBJEE, VITEEE, CUSAT, ISAT, etc ) conducted at the state or national level. Also many colleges and universities give direct admission based on the merit list ( based on XII board exams).
Hi friend,
For become a Engineer after 12th is you must write some entrance exam like:

8.Mechanical
9.Aeronautical engineering
Hi
Engineering is that branch of Science which basically deals with the development of technology in terms of Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Computers, IT, and others. So this has also become one of the most important and in demand courses in the present world.
In India there is a specific Eligibility Criteria which you need to fulfill in order to take up graduation in the Engineering Line. This is that you should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board in India with at least 60% aggregate in your 12th boards.
Also you must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your subjects in the 12th boards.
Now if you want to become an Engineer after your 12th boards, then you need to take part in the ENTRANCE Exams which take place all over the country. Some of them are IIT JEE, AIEEE, DCE, WB JEE, BITSAT, etc...
Once you clear any one of these, you can take admission in their respective colleges like IIT's, NIT's, BITS, etc..
There are private colleges also which doesn't require any Entrance Exam to be given. Hence you can try for them as well some of them being SRM University, LPU, Amity University, Manipal University, VIT, etc..
Engineering is a full time 4 years course and so you need to do that only after completion of which you would be granted the Engineering degree.
Hope this helps
All the best
Regards
RANJEET
