    Hello..

Dera friend.. After 12th in order to become an aerospace scientist you have to go for a

4 year degree course B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering.... To apply this course you have to

Apply for AIEEE, IIT-JEE or any other state level entrance exam... after doing B.tech you have

to apply for GATE Exam to take admission in M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering... Then you are

elegible to work in the research field as a scientist in the companies like ISRO, DRDO etc.. after

Cracking the Exam of these companies...One thing I have to tel you also go for PHD after M.Tech

to increase your job prospects and to become a senior scientist...

Re: How to become an Aerospace Scientist after 10+2?

For this you have to do gradution in Aerospace i.e. B-tech or BE available at various colleges or either you can have the degree in mechanical stream. After that there is exam for both DRDO and ISRO to get entry into them. Although by having BSc Physics honours further having post graduation you are elligible for the exam being conducted by these organisations. Best is to clear the entrance exam of IIST (Indian Institute for Space Technology) have B-tech from it, ISRO have direct placements from this institute.

After completing 10+2 in Science with high percentage of marks in Science subjects and qualifying exam (JEE) To be an aeronautical engineer one should be a BE/B.Tech. in aeronautics. The Madras Institute of Technology offers a year postgraduate programme in aeronautical engineering for B.Sc. students. One can also study for M.Tech. and Ph.D. in aeronautics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Those who have passed the Associate membership exam conducted by ASI (Aeronautical Society of India), which is at par with a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, can also become aeronautical engineers. It is possible to take a degree in electronics or physics to work in this field .

Re: How to become an Aerospace Scientist after 10+2?

    Hi Friend,

No, you cannot directly join as a Aerospace Scientist after your 12th standard.

After 12th standard you have to complete your 4 year Graduation B.Tech degree in Aerospace Engineering.
To join B.Tech you can give entrance exams like
    AIEEE
    IITJEE
    State wise CET exam etc..

Once you qualify in these exam and crack the seat in top Engineering college.
After completing your 4 years degree you have to do your M.Tech and Later Ph.D.
Then top Aerospace companies will hire your as a Aerospace scientist in there companies.

You need to have all over academics with minimum of 60% of marks.

So, after 12th directly you cant become aerospace scientist, you need to complete the process mentioned above

    Thank you...
