    Guidelines for IISER entrance test being a student of Maharashtra state board?

    I am manasi. I am 12th std. student of Maharashtra state board . Since the syllabus for entrance of IISER is from CBSE, I want the guidelines for test exam for IISER entrance test.

    Hi Friend,
    The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research pune is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences. IISER plans to develp advanced teaching and research labs where students will have the opportunity to pursue experiments as well as advanced research under the mentorship of world -class faculty.

    Eligibility for Entrance Exam
    Students obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII and securing a rank in the regular merit list.


    Class 11th and 12 standard syllabus in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics on the CBSE pattern.
    Only one Paper of 2 hours with equal weightage for Biology, Chemistry, physics and Mathematics
    There will be negative Marking +3 for Each correct answer and -1 for wrong answer.

    Don't worry about it. CBSE syllabus is almost same as that of state board. You will understand it by seeing syllabus of aptitude test.
