    My Dear............

IAS is an exam that makes you to enter into the competative world and make you to get the top posts such as DC and DSP
    and ACP so on..

You can take any course as your graduation course.

Because to become an IAS you should have completed your graduation first in any stream from any recognized university....

that is the only educational criteria....then take a look at the following things.

    >> Your age should be between 21 years and 30 years.

    >> You should have good knowledge in current affairs and social issues.

So if you fulfill the above conditions, you can easily crack IAS exam.

The Exam is basically divided into two parts...

    1. Preliminary
    2. Main

In Preliminary, 2 papers are there...

Each paper carry 200 marks and duration is 2 hours.

In main exam you have to select the optional subjects.

Any two subjects (each having 2 papers) to be selected from optional subjects.

Each paper is of 3 hours duration.

Whatever engineering course you do, one thing you should remember that you have to be very strong on topics like general knowledge, general science, history, politics, geography, numericals, decision making, reasoning, mental ability etc.

So to prepare for IAS, lots and lots of books are available in market.

    Have a bright future.......

    Hello,
You can do IAS but only after completing your graduation.
Till then get coaching of it from a good institute.
You can also do some course or certificate program in ROBOTICS and fulfil your desires.
IAS is a very tough competitive exam, where there is Pre - Exam then Post - Exam then Interview, and you have to clear all 3 in one attempt. Drop out at any level you will have to start from the beginning again...

    Hello,
Good to see the set targets at this age, it is required in this competitive scenario...
Firstly you have to finish of your graduation and 12th with good percentage. and in these 3-4 years get coaching for the IAS exam and read the newspaper and magazine named competition success etc. to be in touch with current affairs and GK....
So with more of reading and practise you will surely clear all 3 levels of IAS exam..

Robotics is your interest not you career aim and objective, so this course can be done in these 2-3 years from any institute and get satisfied...
    Concentrate on your career goal...

With hardwork, confidence and dedication you will surely achieve the goal

    All the best

    Hello,
Your subpart of the query is not clear...
You are asking for next attempt of IAS or Any degree course...
If IAS then no problem in giving it again, if you are coming in its eligibility of age..
And as degree course in IT is concerned, you can do it with the preparation of IAS exam as it is an exam for administrative positions and IT is degree to increase your academics qualification...
IF not able to clear IAS (which you will) at least you will have one more degree with you and then apply for job on the basis of this degree..

    All the best

    Hello,
Its good to have joined some degree course...
The fight for you will be to manage your time as you have to join some coaching for your regular studies and for IAS preparation, too with going college regularly...
Your first aim is this only... Study so well in college that there would be no requirement of coaching for regular studies, then you can manage the time for the preparation of IAS, regular reading and good knowledge with complete basics of GK, Subject chosen and bit of things going in our economy in political as well as other sectors of economy...
Read newspaper one hindi and one english minimum on regular basis...
Target is tough but not impossible... Hard-work and confidence is required...

    Hello,
Its mandatory to have graduate degree from any recognised university with all clear and good percentage...
So join some good college for graduation and then some good coaching institute for IAS preparation and give your 200% efforts for both...
IAS is one of the toughest competitive exam, so requires good knowledge level....

Work - Hard and give your maximum and best...

hey friend, for robotics you need 60% marks in either 12th or in B.Tech and duration of the course is 2 years as you said fee structure is very high ,it is around 4.5lakhs.
For becoming an IAS officer your age should be in between 21-30 years and should have a bachelor's degree in any field. You should pass the civil service exam conducted by UPPSC then go for training and should also have weight and height according to their heights/weights standards.
After all these you will become a IAS officer. You should work hard because its one of the toughest exams. Best of luck
