Re: Getting job with less percentage in B.Tech semester exams?

Dear , you can still get a job , with less percentage in B.E.

There many companies that ask for 55% marks in B.E.
So you can apply for a job in them.

You can apply for a job in theses companies-
    Dhyan Infotech P Ltd
    Viamentis Technologies P Ltd
    I C S Computing (India) P Ltd
    Integrated Hitech Ltd
    Pentagon Global Solutions Ltd
    Zylog Systems Ltd

But i will suggest you to try to score atleast 60% marks so as to be eligible for the campus recruitment of many companies.

    good luck

Re: Getting job with less percentage in B.Tech semester exams?

    Dear friend,

Percentage is not a matter because if candidate have well knowledge about particular thing then this is enough to crack the job.

But some top companies expecting the minimum 60% aggregate in academics if you don't have this academic percentage then first work in small company and try for for big companies with work experience.

So,maintain minimum 60% aggregate for eligible for all companies or jobs.

You have nice percentage in the 10th & 12th but don't worry you have still semester exams. So,increase your percentage in coming semester exams.
    >>> LIST OF PRIVATE COMPANIES WHICH YOU CAN APPLY ARE :

    1. Tata consultant services - TCS ( 55% is enough of TCS ).

    2. Vel Tech.

    3. Infotech.

    4. Google.

    5. Inautix.

    6. iGate.

    7. Mind tree.

    8. Mphasis.

    9. HCL.

    10. HP.

    11. Hexaware.

    12. Honeywell etc.

---------------> But 50% is enough for applying all government sector jobs.

    >>> LIST OF GOVERNMENT SECTOR JOBS ARE :

    1. Police department jobs.

    2. Indian army.

    3. Indian railway jobs.

    4. Banking sector jobs.

    5. Indian navy.

    6. L & T.

    7. UPSC Jobs.

    8. Jindal steel plant.

    9. vizag steel plant.

    10. Bsnl etc.

So,finally my suggestion is those who have the good academic percentage and well knowledge they will get settle first.

    All the best..................

    Hello,
No need to be so depressed, have faith in your efforts and hard-work, give the best form your side and then see for the companies guidelines, after scoring 80 you will have aggregate 60 and you will be eligible, there are 4 more semesters left and if you score 75+ in each, you can apply on your own and then companies will surely take you, need not to be depressed if you get less salary initially, as you grow in experience, you will surely going to go to higher positions and good amount of money..
There are many openings coming up in the government sector and numbers will increase in the future, so you can also prepare for the same and crack the exam and interview.
You can also sit for IAS and other administrative exams..
Their is huge scope and many sectors in requirement of employees like you...

All the best and concentrate on your studies..

Cool Re: Getting job with less percentage in B.Tech semester exams?

    Hi friend,

You need not to worry at all,Aggregate of Engineering does not matters a lot,but your knowledge in your domain matters a lot. Moreover to get a job in a reputed MNC,you need to fulfill the below educational qualifications:
    • 60% in 10Th
    • 60% in 12Th
    • 60% in Engineering degree.

Since you have maintained above 60% in 10Th and 12Th and I am sure you will take above 60% aggregate in your B.Tech.The major MNCs of the world does not consider the aggregate % as the most important point for recruitment, but they consider the following points as important for recruitment:

    1. Level of knowledge in your Engineering stream
    2. Communication skills.
    3. Professional skills
    4. Technical and Practical knowledge
    5. Personality
    6. Interpersonal skills

You must give stress on these points instead of making your aggregate high,so by doing this you will easily manage to get a job at a reputed MNC

    All the best.

    Dear friend,
You have fared well in 10th and 12th classes.
Your B.Tech percentage is also just average.
Don't get tense that you will end up with low aggregate.
Keep hope on your skills and try whole-heartedly.
    communication_skill.jpg
It is quite important for you understand is that Your aggregate is not the only necessity for placements.
You need to be active in extra-curricular activities and you need to develop communication skills well.
Most companies nowadays are more interested in students communications skills than aggregates.

Don't put limits to your abilities, work hard.
You can achieve more than you can imagine.

Re: Getting job with less percentage in B.Tech semester exams?

    Friend,

Based on your academic record, I can say that you can score atleast 60% aggregate marks in B Tech and for this
you just need to keep putting in the effort.
So just concentrate to score as many marks as you can.

In case you couldn’t make up aggregate of 60%, you should not lose heart. There are lots of other opportunities in different sectors.

There are many IT companies as well where you can get the job if your percentage is
    above 55%.

One suggestion for you will be that start working hard to score maximum marks and start the
Preparation for GATE exam. Through GATE exam, you can get admission in MTech which will give
a stronger look to your profile and chances of getting good jobs will also increase.

Moreover there are many PSU companies like BPCL, HPCL, IOCL which are recruiting on the basis
GATE score card, so you’ll have chances ofgetting jobs in these companies with good score.

Re: Getting job with less percentage in B.Tech semester exams?

    hello friend...

Placing into good company purely depends on you

not on the percentage i can say this for sure because

no company will look at only percentage

now a days company's are mainly looking at

    the different skills like

    communication skills

    inter personal skills

    logical skills

    team leading skills

    etc etc

so my dear friend my suggestion is that

do maintain good extra corricular skills which will add up to your percentage

and i also would like to suggest try to get atleast 65 in this last year

so you'll be able to apply for all the companies which are at the top position

hopefully you're worth ful then you'll definitely get placed

    in one of them

    all the best...

    DEAR,

Ur percentage is quite low for working in the software companies because the software companies will require atleast 60% in B.tech degree as well as in 12th and 10th level. U have obtained good marks in 10th and 12th but unbale to score 60% marks in bachelor degree and due to this u r not eligible to apply for job in IT organisation such as TCS,IBM and other top companies.
    I suggest u to complete some certificate course such as;

    1.Oracle,
    2.Java,

    Programming languages like;

    1.c,
    2.c++,
    3.Html
    etc.

After completion of this certificates u may apply for job in some IT companies.

List of IT Companies in India:-

    1.Accenture.

    2.ACS.

    3.CA Technologies.

    4.CTS.

    5.Dell.

    6.HCL Technologies.

    7.HI Tachi.

    8.IBM.

    9.Infosys.

    10.Microsoft.

Starting pay of all the jobs was of minimum of 15,000 to the 20,000 and depending up on the work and the experience u will be given the salary up to 80,000 to 1.5 lakhs per month depending up on the capability of work.
