    Exams to be taken to become a Magistrate?

    I am a Law Graduate and i want to know about the exams to be taken for becoming a magistrate?

    Dear sir/madam,
    Magistrate is a most cherish position in the judicial system of India.A Magistrate requires a lot of knowledge about the law of the land and plenty of experience in more than one area of human behavior. The eligibility criteria to become a Magistrate are as follows :
    * Minimum qualification requires is Law graduate( 5year or 3 Year ).
    * Not less than 21 years of age and not greater than 35 years of age.
    * A person must be a citizen of India.
    * Appear in the CLAT exam. This exam is divided in 3 stages and these are follows :
    1. Objective/preliminary based test.
    2. Written test.
    3. Personal Interview.

    After successfully passing all these stages then you will be a Magistrate.

    To become a magistrate a person should possess the following:

    1. Should possess a law graduat degree
    2. Not lesser than 21 years and not more than 35 years.

    you can become a magistrate directly by writing the exams conducted by the state. the age limit is 35 for oc and 40 to bc.
    if you want enroll on supreme court ,firstly you have to write the on record exams.

    A magistrate is an officer of the Indian judiciary.

    There are 4 types of magistrates in our country. :

    Chief Judicial Magistrate,

    Judicial Magistrates First Class,

    Judicial Magistrates Second Class and

    Executive Magistrates.

    The position of a magistrate is one of the most coveted professions in the Indian judiciary.

    They are eligible to work in the courts until they are 66 years old.

    Magistrates have a monthly remuneration of Rs 28, 800/- in addition to other amenities.

    Qualifying Exam

    Candidates who wish to become Magistrates must appear in the exams carried out by the Law Service Commission.

    They can also write the State Judicial Law Entrance Exam that is conducted by the Public Service Commission.

    The notifications for these exams will be available in all leading newspapers.

    Who is eligible to apply?

    Students who have finished their graduation in Law are eligible to become magistrates.

    Their age should be more than 21 and must not exceed 35 years at the time of applying.

    Those candidates who have finished their LLM degree are also eligible to apply.

    The candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their final exam.

    HI DUDE,

    there is 21 to 35 years of age limitation for Magistrate exams.

    To eligibile your self to write exams for magistrate is you must be having 2 years LLB degree.

    Minimum qualification to go for a course in law (LLB) is 10+2.
    Course duration is of 5 years and is sponsored by the Bar Council Of India.

    If you see its renumeration then

    Initially an articled clerk or apprentice earns a stipend of Rs 5000/- This will increase
    substantially over years of experience. In the government judicial service salaries range
    from Rs 5,000-9,000.
