For getting jobs in banking sector, you can give exam conducted by IBPS.
IBPS means Institute of Banking Personnel, it is generally conducted twice in a year for clerks, PO's and specialist officers posts of 19 banks which are under IBPS, it is common entrance exam conducted and it is necessary to qualify in this exam, if you want to get job in those 19 banks.

If you qualify in that exam, you will be given valid score card through that you can apply for various interviews of various banks.

The eligibility for clerk posts is 60% in 10th or 50% in 10+2 or any degree with minimum of 18 years and maximum of 28 years.

The eligibility for PO posts is any degree from recognized university with minimum of 21 years and maximum of 28 years.

IBPS Exam consists of 5 sections quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English, general awareness related to banking, and computer knowledge, every section consists of 50 questions, with negative marking, apart from this descriptive paper consists of 50 marks.

In each section you have to score 21(SC/ST) 24(GEN) to clear the exam, then only descriptive paper will be evaluated.
