    Hello friend .
You are eligible for JEE mains as it is similar to AIEEE which provides 3 chances

But you are not eligible for jee advanced as it is similar to IIT which gives only two chances that also in consecutive years.

So, you can appear in jee mains and get a seat in NITs but not in IIT.

To know the complete eligibility details please visit www.jeemain.nic.in

    Good Luck

    Dear Friend,

I am sorry to say but you are not eligible for JEE Advanced Test as students appearing in 12th or having one year drop can only appear in this examination.

ISEET stands for Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test. ISEET consists of two examinations:

    1. JEE Mains
    2. JEE Advanced

JEE Mains is the new alternative introduced by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development taking into consideration the number of exams a student has to take in order to get an admission into a premier engineering institute in India.

So, replacing the many individual engineering entrances, MHRD has come up with this solution of having a common national level entrance test to get admission into engineering and it has been named ISEET (Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test).

It primarily consists of two phases, the JEE Main and the JEE Advanced. JEE Mains is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) while the JEE Advanced is conducted by the consortium of IITs.

There are so many very good colleges other than IITs. So, there is no need to worry.

    All the best.
    Thank you.
