Re: Eligibility for IITJEE next year having 67% aggregate and 58% in PCM?

No,sir you are not eligible to give IIT-JEE exam next year.because you have not satisfied the minimum eligibility criteria which is that
--the candidate who have passed class 12 boards with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and 60% in PCM.are eligible to apply.

so,its better that you give improvement exam and score more than 60% in aggregate in PCM and then you will be eligible for giving IIt-JEE exam, but that will be your last chance.
for example-student passed in 2012 can give IIT-JEE in 2012 and in 2013.

Re: Eligibility for IITJEE next year having 67% aggregate and 58% in PCM?

NO !! YOU CANNOT APPEAR FOR IIT JEE NEXT YEAR UNLESS YOU ARE A SC/ST studnet !!!
You need to have a minimum of 60% in your PCM for sitting in IIT JEE

IIT JEE stands for Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination

    iit-jee-2012.jpg

Eligibility norms and conditions for the examination are given below

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IIT JEE

*You need to have PCM (physics Chemistry Maths) combination in your 12th

*your aggregate in PCM should be 60%(for general students)

*aggregate in PCM should be 55% (for SC/ST)

*you must have passed your 12th from a recognized university

*candidates appearing for Higher secondary are eligible to apply

*You can appear for 2 times in IIT JEE consecutively

VERIFY THIS FROM THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE http://jee.iitm.ac.in/eligibility.php

    POINTS TO NOTE ==== >>>>>

    >You can see in he highlighted part the Minimum aggregate for IIT JEE is 60% in PCM for general students. As you got 58% you are not eligible to take apart in this examination

    > If you are a SC/ST candidate, you will get a 5% relaxation in marks which makes the minimum eligibility at 55% aggregate of PCM....and this makes you eligible for IIT JEEE nexy tear.... provided you should be a SC/ST candidate..!!

    >you must have a valid SC,ST certificate to prove this ... unless you will not be granted the marks relaxation

    >IIT JEE does not have any separate marks regulation for students of different boards,....it has a marks eligibility applicable to all students coming from different boards and institutions

**You should not feel shattered if you cannot give IIT JEE.... there are lost of other engineering exams which you can opt for !! you can have a bright career even then..... you need to crack the other exams and get a god rank...then you can get admitted in good engineering colleges. You can apply for AIEEE, WBJEE,KIIT JEE, MHT CET, PTU CET, KARNATAKA CET, OJEE, MANIPAL ENTRANCE EXAM,

    WISH YOU ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you are eligible to write IIT JEE.You have passed all the eligibility requirements to sit for the JEE.I would like to list those criterias below:

~You must have passed your 10+2 with PCM.
~You must have scored 60% in your qualifying exam or its equivalent from any recognized board. For SC/ST it is 55%.
~You can give only a maximum of two consecutive attempts.

So considering the above mentioned eligibility criteria you must be now relieved to find that you are certainly eligible for the JEE.

NO YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR GIVING THE EXAM BECAUSE YOU DON'T FULFILL THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA .

The criteria for the exam is below :
-> one should pass the 12th with PCM subjects and got minimum 60% marks for general and obc catagory , 55% for SC/ST catagory from any recognized university .
-> Overall 12th marks will be minimum 60% for general and obc catagory , 55% for SC/ST
    -> age must be between 17-25 .
-> there are only 2 attempts are allowed to any candidate .

As you got 58% in PCM so that according to above criteria you are not eligible for the exam .

So go for the AIEEE exam and other exam .

    IIT JEE Eligiblity Criteria -

You have to clear your 12Th examination with minimum 60% marks in PCM and if you are in SC/ST Category then you must have 55% in PCM.

You must have Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in your 12th.

You can apply for IIT exam only twice and that too in consecutive years.

Now you have 58% in PCM so you are not eligible to apply if you are in general category. But if you are in reserved category then you are eligible.

You can apply for following IIT Colleges :

    IIT , Bombay

    IIT, Guwahati

    IIT , Delhi

    IIT , Kanpur

    IIT , Madras

    IIT , Rurki

    Some other Entrance Exams :

    AIEEE
    VITEEE
    BITSAT

    IIT Paper Pattern :

IIT Contain objective question based on Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. There is negative marking system. You have to tackle these negative marking system.

You ahve to crack IIT Exam with good marks such that your rank must be high. So that you can get good college.

IIT JEE Top Ranker from Andhra Pradesh.jpg
Sorry to inform you that from the next year the iit pattern is change.iit exam has two exam-mains and advanced. For the eligible for advanced exam you must be in top 20 percentile of your state board exam. The final rank will be deciced by the performance in advanced exam provided you are in top 20 percentile of the board exam.As you have scored 67.6% from cbse board but for the top 20 percentile in cbse board you have to be minimum 78%.So you are not eligible for advanced exam but you can apply for aieee or VIT or IP.
