The Govt. of West Bengal recruits cadidates in wide renge of posts through West Bengal Civil Service exam.
There are several groups available in WBCS exam such as Group A,B,C,D.
ELIGIBILITY FOR WBCS EXAM:
* Candidate must have a degree from any recognizing university.
* Candidate must able to read,write and speak Bengali but it is not mandatory for cadidates from hill region.
* Age limit for posts Group A,C and D the age limit is in between 21-32 years.
* For West Bengal public service commision(i.e for Group B) the age is not below 20 and not more than 32 years.
The selection procedure is in three steps
WBCS EXAM DTRUCTURE:
Priliminary Exam(Objective type question)
Final exam(Subjective tipe question)
Personality Test.
Only the successful candidates in preliminary exam are allowed to appear in Final Exam.

1)candidates must have a graduate degree from any recognized university of India
2)the stream does not matter and there is also no percentage bar
3)candidates must be eligibile for speaking ,reading,writing bengali language
4)age limit-21 to 30 years for general candidate,21-33 years for obc,21 to 35 years for sc/st.

W.B.S.C --- WEST BENGAL SERVICE COMMISSION
So In the State wide .... WBSC exam is conducted by the " Union Public Service Commission "
To apply for this you must have a minimum of Graduation from a recognized university
And the minimum age is 21 years
Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years
There will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates
WBSC exam is hard to get Success
You must have ( 10+2+3 ) graduation from a recognized university
SC / ST / OBC will have the pleasure of 5 - years relaxation for all categories of WBSC examination
You must be an Indian Citizen
