    IES exam is conducted by UPSC for the engineering graduates. The eligibility criteria are:

    - Your age must be between 21-30 years of age.
    - 3 years of relaxation is given to OBS candidates and 5 years to SC/ST.
    - You must be in final year or must have passed BTech from a recognized university.

    The details about registeration and examination pattern is published in the month of
    Jan-Feb and exam is conducted in the month of May.

    Exam is of subjective type and syllabus mainly consists of subject taught in 3rd semester to 7th semester.
    The syllabus if GATE exam and IES is almost same.

    After qualifying in this exam, you will get the post of Rank1 officer in Railways, Defense and other departments.

    You are the student of BE 4th year and your department is ECE so you are eligible to attend in IES Exam.

    IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year.

    If you have completed Engineering degree in CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING stream , then also you are applicable for IES exam

    If you have M.Sc degree in Physics , Radio Physics then you are applicable for IES exam.Final year student also eligible for IES exam .

    The applicant age should between 21 yrs to 30 yrs.

    The candidates can apply for the exam either online or offline.
