    Dear sir,
If you want to apply for the IAS exam then the minimum qualification required for apply is graduation in any stream. In the first stage of IAS, you have to appear in the preliminary test, it consists of objective type questions. After passing that test, you will have to give mains examination which is a written test. The written test consists of those subjects which you choose at the time of filling the form. If you clear both these test then they will call you for the interview. If you cleared in all these tests then they will give you the call letter. The next exam of IAS will be held on 20/05/2012.

In PCS, the critteria is almost same as like a IAS and the main difference between these two is PCS is at state level test but IAS is a India level test. The minimum % you should necessary to get good response to the selectors in 12th is minimum 60 %.
