Re: Eligibility criteria, minimum qualification required and examination date of NEET exam

Dear recent and prior information for you about NEET - National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examination is that - Supreme Court of India - Former/Ex - CJI - Cheif Justice of India ordered MCI - Medical Council of India and Ministry of Health Science to Quash NEET Entrance Examination because when NEET come under the law and as legal test, it replaced AIPMT - All India Pre Medical Test and conducted in the year 2013 by MCI of India but after that Supreme Court Terminated the existence of NEET test and gave instructions to MCI to not conduct this examination because this is disputed test not being accepted by various states of India and some of the states have got the authority to conduct own admission process and test to provide admission in MBBS or BDS or equivalent programs in those institutes which are under that particular states that is why to make the admission procedure undisputed, Supreme court given this order and if MCI and Responsible Committee accept the law then they will cancel this test for permanently that is why this test is under discussion and until any specific decision taken by the MCI and Panel, you may not apply for NEET Examination

If you want some basic details about NEET so I would say that - You can appear for this test, if you have passed class XII from a reputed board with Chemistry + Physics + Biology/Biotechnology as mandatory subjects and scored minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all subjects with passing separately in all mentioned subjects and English also should be as one of the subjects at your 12th level

Your age should be between 17-25 years and upper age relaxation can be claimed by reserved category candidates that is 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST

Those candidates who are awaited for the final examination result of Class 12th may also apply for this test

On the place of appearing for NEET, you can apply for JIPMER - Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research that is also all India level entrance exam and you can also appear for state PMT test to get admission in MBBS program

    All the best
