    Eligibility criteria of IITJEE for 12th passed candidate secured 78%?

    sir
    as i got 78 percent marks in 12. Can i illigible 4 iitjee?

    From the Year 2013 onwards there will be NO Separate Entrance Tests for the IIT.
    There will be no AIEEE entrance exams as well.

    A new Common written tests will be conducted.
    The name of this test is
    ISEET (Indian Science engineering Eligibilty Test)

    This test will be conducted to fill seats in;
    15 IIT
    IT-BHU,Varanasi
    ISMU ,Dhanbad
    30 NIT
    5 IIIT
    IIST
    And other govt aided colleges

    ELIGIBILTY:
    12th Pass with Min 40% marks.
    The students should have Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12th

    EXAM PATTERN:
    12th Class Boards Exams Marks- 40% weightage.

    ISEET MAIN-30 % weightage .This will have Aptitude testing questions based on Comprehension,critical reading and reasoning.

    ISEET Advance- 30% weightage.This will have questions on Phy,Che and Maths.

    This Exam will be conducted by CBSE
    Notification is expected to be announced in Dec 2012.

    IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology
    it is a top most engineering institute in India


    it is conducted once a year

    eligibility


    you must have passed your 12th from a recognised board
    you must have pcm as compulsory subjects
    you must score minimum of 60% in pcm


    age limit
    17 to 25 years

    no of attempts
    maximum of 2 attempts in consecutive years

    but according to new system
    from 2013 onwards a new exam will be conducted in the place of IIT and AIEEE


    this exam will be popularly known as ISEET



    ISEET stands for Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test,





    it will be conducted by CBSE


    there is an advantage of this exam that is
    it wil be conducted twice a year


    it will allow maximum of 4 attempts in consecutive years



    eligibility for ISEET

    you must have passed your 10+2 from a recognised board
    you must have pcm as compulsory subjects
    you msut score minimum of 40% in 12th


    exam pattern of ISEET



    it will have 2 papers
    1.mains

    2.advanced



    mains exam will cover topics as given

    reasoning
    aptitude
    general english

    advanced will cover science subjects as given
    physics
    chemistry
    maths


    weightage for mains-30%
    weightage for advanced--30%
    weightage for 12th marks-40%

    Hello guest,
    There will be no AIEE or IITJEE from next year onwards.
    AIEEE+IITJEE=ISEET( Indian Science Engineering Entrance exam.
    ELIGIBILITY FOR ISEET
    * Candidate must pass 12th from recognizing board with subject PCM.
    * Candidate must at lwast score 50% in class 12th exam.45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
    * Age limit must be within 17-25 year.
    * Number of maximum attempt-2.
    From your 12th percentage you are eligible for ISEET.

    eligibility criteria :-

    1. you must be appearing in 12th class / may have passed 12th class with minimum 60 % marks in (PCM ) ,if you are a general/OBC categorised student .

    2.you must be appearing in 12th class / may have passed 12th class with minimum 55 % marks in (PCM ) ,if you are a SC/ST/PH candidate .


    3. your age limit must be 17-25 years .

    4. you can only apply for IIT-JEE twice in the twoconsecutive years .
