Re: Eligibility criteria of IBPS exam?

If you are going to make your career in banking sector through IBPS examination then you have took a right decision because there is a huge and unlimited scope in banking industries because this sector is being grown up more than all other sectors and have became a second major part of our Indian Economy and because of this, it demanded for more employees due to establishment of new bankings industries and branches and retirements of previous employees on high number so you should be focused towards this sector and make your career

IBPS conduct various examinations and this year IBPS has conducted Specialist Officer Examination in March 2013 so next examination will be for PO and then for clerk post and these exams are upcoming so you should focus on these exams

To apply for CWE PO, you should be graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and must have scored at least 60% marks in aggregate for CWE PO, but no percentage marks required in degree for clerk examination and age should be between 20-28 years for both examination. Candidate must posses a degree or diploma or certificate in computer application/ science from a recognized institute and should have good knowledge of operation of computer systems

Information about CWE PO is not official because IBPS did not announce official notification but taken from some reliable sources and this may be possible so think about that and prepare for examination

Examination Pattern for IBPS CWE clerk and PO exam : Following subjects will be asked in exam

    Quantitive Aptitude
    Reasoning Ability
    English Language
    Computer Knowledge
General Awareness with Special Reference of Banking Industry

50 questions will be asked for 50 marks in CWE PO exam but 40 questions will be asked in each subject for 40 marks in CWE clerk examination and all subjects questions will be set in objective type pattern where passing in all sections is compulsory

There will be a separate descriptive test for CWE PO and passing in that test is also mandatory

I have attached official notification for CWE clerk and possible requirement notification for CWE PO 2013, please download and receive more details about both of these tests
