    Hey Sir,
    my date of birth is 13 august 1983.
    please tell me will i be eligible 4 i.a.s exam of next year??????????

    If, you belong to General Category, than YES, you can apply to the UPSC Civil Services Exams next Year.
    But please rebember that will be your last chance to apply to this exam.

    Maximum age to apply for this exam is 30 years for General Candidates.
    Cut Off date to count the age is 1st Augst 2013 for next year exams.

    OBC candidates gets 3 years age relaxations and SC/ST candidates gets 5 years age relaxations.

    Notifications for this exams will come out on 2nd February 2013
    Last Date to apply will be 4th March 2013

    Next UPSC Prelims Exams will be held on 19th May 2013

    So, you can start your preparation for the Prelims Exams right now.

    Age Criteria for IAS Exam is as follows:

    Minimum: 21 years
    Maximum: 30 years

    Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as follows:

    3 years for OBC.
    5 years for SC/ST
    10 years for PWD & Exservice-men.

    So, you are eligible for the exam.

    If you belong to general category, you will have only one chance for the exam.

    If you belong to any reserved category, then you will have some more chances, as there is age relaxation for these categories.

    Number of attempts:

    General category- 4

    OBC - 7

    There is no limit for SC/ST.

    Next UPSC Civil services Preliminary exam is on
    19-05-2013.

    Date of Notification:
    02-02-2013.

    Last date for receipt of application:
    04-03-2013.

    Dear Aspirant...



    You can give IAS examination after graduation and you can give this exam 4 times in a whole

    life and You must be prepare well in this examination and you must be doing well study than

    you crack IAS Examination and you must be Indian Citizen and Your age limit should be 21 to

    30 years and You get some relaxation and you can give this exam 4 times and some relaxation

    are provide reserved category and You can fill in this eligibility criteria than you eligible for IAS

    officer post and this is a most respectful post in India and IAS exam is a toughest exam in India

    so prepare well.

    You do not have to warry too much as you can apply for IAS exam.Just check the eligibility criteria for IAS exam.
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
    * Candidate must pass Graduation from any recognizing university.
    * Candidate must have citizenship of India.
    * Age limit is in between 21-30 years.3 year age relaxation for OBC candidate and 5 year for SC/ST candidate.
    * A general candidate can attempt 4 times for IAS and 7 times for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
    SELECTION PROCEDURE
    * Preliminary Exam.
    * Final Exam.
    * Interview.

    Eligibility for IAS Officer exam 2013

    A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks

    Age should be between 21-30 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines

    5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC category

    No. of Attempts for IAS Exam

    General Category - 4 times

    OBC Category - 7 times

    SC/ST Category - No limit - till 35 years of age

    If you belong to general category then you would not be eligible for next year IAS exam but if you belong to OBC or SC/ST category then you can apply for IAS exam 2013

    At the age of 29 year you are eligible for I.A.S exam.
    I.A.S exam is also called as Civil Services exam.
    This exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

    For Civil services exam you have to pass graduation with any stream.


    The age limit for Civil services exam is 21-30 year.
    For ST/SC candidate is 21-25 year.

    There are three stage of selection:-
    > Prelims Exam
    > Mains Exam
    >Interview

    IMPORTANT DATE FOR CIVIL SERVICES (Preliminary) EXAM., 2013 Date Of Notification:-02.02.2013
    Last date of submission of form:-04.03.2013 (MONDAY)
    Date of exam Prelims:-19.05.2013 (SUNDAY)

    IAS is a all India based exam conducted by UPSC. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS:-

    I A S : INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE.

    These exam is the one of the Tuffest exam and the exam is conducted by the UPSC.


    Educational Qualification :

    A degree from any recognized university with any stream.

    The candidates who are awaiting for the results of final year are also eligible.


    Nationality :

    Only Indians are eligible for IAS or IPS.


    AGE Limit :

    A candidate must have the 21 years and not be over of 30 years.

    The upper age limit is relax-able to the special categories as,

    OBC - 3 years

    SC/ST/PH - 5 years

    Upto 10 years in the case of blind,deaf-mute and orthopaedically handicapped candidates.

    Yes, definately at the age of 29 years you can enroll and appear in the Indian administrative services. For this you are required to appear in the civil services examination organised by the UPSC. If you are from general category then the next year would be your last attempt. However if you are from the obc category then your's maximum age limit is 33 years. And for sc/st students the age limit extends to 35 years. You must be graduate and also Indian.

    UPSC has released the notifications for the 2013 UPSC Prelims exams.
    Next UPSC Prelims Exams will be held on 26th May 2013Last date to apply is 4th April 2013

    ELIGIBILTY:
    Educational Qualifications: Graduation pass in any Stream

    AGE- Minimum 21 years
    Maximum 30 years
    Only candidates born between the dates 2nd August, 1983 and not later than 1st August, 1992 can apply
    However candidates belonging to OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

    Hi,

    A 29 year old candidate can apply for IAS exam.

    If you are a general category, then also you are eligibel to apply as upper age limit for general category is 30 years, but this will be the last chance.

    However, if you belong to OBC, you can make attempts till you are 33 years old.

    And If you belong to SC / ST category, then you can make attempts till you are 35 years of age.

    IAS exam is conducted by UPSC every year and is conducted in three stages -

    Preliminary
    Main
    INterview.

    The other eligibility criteria to give IAS exam is -

    That you should be a graduate in nay discipline but from a recognised college.

    Number of attempts is different for diffrent categories.

    For general - it is 4 attempts

    hello, the full form of IAS is Indian administrative service which is an administrative civil service of government of India and to be an IAS officer one must write civil service exam conducted by UPSC.
    some of the eligibility criteria of IAS exam are given below:
    -nationality of the candidate should be Indian
    -preferred age limit is in between 21-30 for general students and can be extended up to 39 for other back ward classes
    so i thing if you belong to a backward community and your age is 29 then you have a chance and you can still apply for this exam

    IAS Exam is a very challanging Course and yes if you are 29 years of age you can still go ahead , the following points will tell you the eligibility criteria -

    A Candidate must possess a Bachelors degree from any recognised University with minimum 55% of marks .
    A candidate shall be minimun 21 years of age and not more than 30 years.
    Age relaxation is for OC 3 yrs , SC/ST 5Yrs and 10 yrs for PDS
    A candidate will go through a preliminary exam first , then the Main exam and then comes the Interview.

    As per your Date of Birth , you are eligible for the IAS exam .

    IAS - Indian Administrative Service

    This exam will conducts by UPSC of Indida
    UPSC - Union Public Service Commission

    Generally , for the IAS exam , The candidates who have completed Graduation from a Recognised college are eligible to apply .

    For the OC Category candidates , age should be in between 21-30 years only

    Educational Qualification:- You should be Complete the degree in recognized university and final year candidates also eligible for this examination.

    Age Limit:- Your age limit should between 21 to 30 year's and upper age relaxation is applicable for different Caste.

    Physical Standards:- You should be medically fit for this examination.

    Number of Attempts:- For General Candidates four attempts and for OBC Candidates seven Attempts and for SC/ST Candidates No limit to attempts for this examination.


    You Satisfied this eligibility Criteria's you should be eligible for this examination.

    IAS exam stands for Indian Administrative service which is conducted by upsc.

    Eligibility;

    1-you must be graduate from a recognized university.There is no percentage requirement.


    2-age limits is 21-30 years. 3 and 5years age relaxation is given to obc and sc/st category students,

    3-you must be Indian citizen.

    4-you must be physically fit.

    Eligibility of IAS(29 years old Candidate):-

    1.Education: Minimum Graduate From a recognized University.

    2.Nationality: Indian

    3.AGE: Gen; 21-30 years, relaxation for OBC 3 years S/C S/T: 5 years. PWD: 10 years.

    4.Attempts: Gen: 4 Attempts. OBC: 7 attempts. PWD:S/C S/T: No limit.
