    Hi,

NO, you cannot apply for CAT while in second year of B.tech.

You can only apply it in the final year of your degree or after completing your degree course.

CAT or Common Admission Test is one of the toughest and most prestigious exam in India.

CAT score is accepted by all IIMs and other top MBA colleges in India.

    Eligibility for CAT –

You should be a graduate with minimum 50 % aggregate marks ( 45 % in case of SC/ST, OBC)

There is no age limit for this exam.

So, you will have to satisfy the required educational qualification for CAT.

However you can start preparations for CAT.

Join some good coaching and devote few hours for the preparation.

Don’t forget to memorize General awareness regularly.

It will help you at the time of exam.
