    AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test.


    This exam is conducted for Three post:- ** Flying Branch, ** Technical Branch and ** Ground Duty......


    Eligibility criteria:-


    Flying Branch :- If you have completed Bachelor Degree in Engineering filed from recognized university then you are eligible for it...

    Age Limit :-
    Age of candidate should be between 19 to 23 years....



    Technical Branch :- If you have completed Bachelor in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from Recognized Universities then you are eligible for it...
    Age Limit :- Age of candidate should be between 18 to 28 years....



    Ground Duty :- If you have completed Graduation degree in any discipline from recognized Universities then you are eligible for it...

    Age Limit :- Age of candidate should be between 20 to 25 years....



    Final years students also eligible for it and there is no any percentage criteria..

    A candidate must be an indian....

    All the candidates must be in the age of 19 - 23 years to apply for AFCAT exam
    The candidates must complete degree with atleast 60% marks to get posted in
    Ground Duty posts

    The candidates must complete B.Tech or B.Sc with atleast 55% or more marks to get posted in
    Technical branch
    Flying branch

    The post graduates upper age limit is 25 years
    The candidates done CA, ICWA, Ph.D, M.Ed are given maximum age limit of 27 years
    The candidates who have done LLB 3 years courses are given maximum age limit of 26 years

    Also the candidates must be healthy and medically fit to get trained in Airforce

    There will be various kinds of BRANCHES ..


    FOR TECHNICAL BRANCH ::


    You must have a

    1. Candidate have to pass 4 years B.E/B.Tech course from any recognized University.

    2. Candidate who are in final year of B.E/B.Tech can also apply for AFCAT.

    About AFCAT Examination

    AFCAT examination take place twice in an year. AFCAT I take place in the moth of February and AFCAT II take place in the month of August.

    All questions in AFCAT examination is objective type and contains question like

    1. Logical reasoning.

    2. Numerical Aptitude.

    3. General Knowledge.

    4. Verbal Ability.

    5. Quantitative aptitude.

    6. Current Affairs.

    Total Marks- 100.

    Eligibility for AFCAT Entrance Examination

    There will be following branches in AFCAT :

    Flying Branch : Should be either graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with maths and physics at class 12th level or have a degree of Engineering - BE or B.Tech with at least 60% marks from a reputed university. Age should be minimum 19 years and not more than 23 years

    Technical Branch :
    A - Aeronautical Engineering - Electronics : Should posses a degree of engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from a recognized university or passed section A and B of the Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers or equivalent and age should not be less than 18 years and more than 28 years

    B - Aeronautical Engineering - Mechanical : Engineering Degree - BE or B.Tech in Mechanical Branch from a reputed institute and age limits follows same as - 18-28 years
