    Eligibility for CLAT being 20 years old?

    my dob is 17/11/1991 am i eligible for CLAT exam?

    CLAT Exam is conducted for both Graduation and Post Graduation course.
    Graduation COURSE is known as LLB while Post Graduation is known as LLM Course.
    Eligibility for each course is different.
    Eligibility For LLB:
    You should pass your 12th with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 45% in case of reserve category.
    Your age should not be more than 20 years for General and OBC candidates and 22 years in case of SC/ST/PH

    Eligibility For LLM:
    You should have an LLB or BL degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in case of OBC/SC/ST/PH.
    There is no age limit for LLM course.

    Hello friend,


    Yes you are eligible Because Your should not be more than 20 years (For General/OBC candidates) and 22 years (For SC/ST and persons with Disability) as on 1st July, 2012.

    You should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board with not less than 50% marks (For general candidates) and 45% (For SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates) in aggregate.

    Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting Results are also eligible to appear in the test.

    CLAT 2012 is a single stage entrance exam and the exam is of 2 hours duration. The exam consists of multiple choices questions and short answer questions.

    CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test.It is held at both graduation and post graduate level.

    The age criteria for CLAT are-

    ~20 years for General/OBC
    ~22 for SC/ST

    Other criteria for CLAT is that you must hae passed your 12th class with 50% marks.

    But you are unfortunately over 20 years of age and hence not eligible for CLAT.

    Hi guest, CLAT refers to common law admission test. It is conducted at both graduation and post graduation. If you want to enter in LLB, then you need to crack CLAT. The eligiblity criteria for CLAT exam are as follows- you must pass the senior secondary exam with minimum 50% (GENERAL CANDIDATES) 45% (SC/ST CANDIDATES) , your age must not be more than 20 years for general and obc candidates. Two years relaxation for the Sc/st candidates i.e they can give the Clat Upto the age of 22 years. Thanx

    CLAT is a exam for graduation and post gradution Yes you are eligible this

    exam definatly because you are only 20 years .and your eligibility for 12th

    in 50 % marks .CLAT is stand for common law admission test.You give after

    12 th you must be 20 age not more then so you are not eligible in this case .

    CLAT exam question multiple choice.

    CLAT is conducted for Graduation as well as Post graduation..

    For Graduation (L.L.B):
    You must have completed class XII with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC)..
    Age should not be more than 20 years (22 years for SC/ST)..

    For Post Graduation (L.L.M):
    You must have completed L.L.B with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC) from a recognized university..

    You have not mentioned whether you want to go for graduation or post graduation..
    It seems you are eligible for the CLAT exam..

    CLAT - COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST

    you are eligible only in the case if you are a SC/ST/PH candidate .

    To be eligible to appear in CLAT-2012, a candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD).

    The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance exam which is conducted every year by each of National Law Schools.
    CLAT is a single stage entrance exam and the exam is of 2 hours duration.

    Eligibility -

    Under Graduated Program -

    you should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate or
    its equivalent qualification from a recognized board 50% marks (For GEN. )) and 45% (For SC/ST/OBC and PWD ) in aggregate.
    12th Running is also Eligible.

    Age Limit -
    your age must Below 20 years(GEN. Category) & 22 years (SC/ST,OBC Category )



    Post Graduated Program -


    you should have obtained a LL.B/B.L. Degree or
    an equivalent degree from a recognized University with 55% (For GEN ) and 50% (For SC/ST /OBC and persons with Disability) marks.

    Final Years Students of Degree in also Eligible.

    yes you are eligibl rfor clat being 20 years old.

    eligibility for clat:

    @both graduation and post gradaution courses:

    #for gradaution: completed 12 from a recognized board and with50% of aggregate for general candidates.

    45%in case of sc/st/obc

    20 years of age for general candidate and and 22 in case of person with disability.

    for postgradaution:

    @55% aggregate in graduation 50% for sc/st candidates

    CLAT is Common Law Admission Test. It is conducted for admission of candidates in LLB and LLM course.

    CLAT Eligibility-

    1- Educational Qualification-

    You must have passed 12th class in any stream. You must have minimum 50% marks in 12th for appearing in CLAT exam. There is relaxation of 5% marks for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category.

    2- Age Limits- The maximum age limit is-

    For General Category candidates- 20 years
    For OBC Category Candidates- 22 years
    For SC/ST Candidates- 22 years.

    CLAT English Syllabus-

    1. English including Comprehension: 40 Marks
    2. General Knowledge/Current Affairs: 50 Marks
    3. Elementary Mathematics: 20 Marks (Numerical ability)

    CLAT requires a 50% marks in higher secondary level and 20 year limit for general category.

    Relaxation for SC/ST or other reservation categories.

    Since you have passed 20 years,if you are general category you cannot write the exam.

    If you are under reserved category you may if you comply with other qualifications.

    According to your date of Birth you are now 21 years old.

    - Age limit for clat exam: below 20 years for General and OBC.

    - For SC/ST: below 22 years.

    - It means if yo are SC or ST candidate then only eligible for clat exam.

    - Education: minimum 50% in 12th class.

    - For SC/ST: minimum 45% in 12th class.

    C .L.A.T --- COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST


    The basic Eligibility criteria is as follows ..

    You must have a minimum LLB degree from a Recognized university

    You must have secured a minimum of 55% in Academics

    The percentage is 45 % in case of SC/ ST / OBC ...etc.,

    You should be in the Age of 20 only

    And there will be an Age relaxation for the Reserved candidates ...

    CLAT is the Exam in which If you passed this exam you will become LLB or LLM...

    This is For both...

    1. Graduation
    2. Post Graduation

    Graduation: LLB
    Post Graduation: LLM

    Education Qualification (LLB): 12th passed with min 50% of marks and this is 45% for Reserved Category
    Age Limit (LLB): min 20 years required this is 22 for Reserved Category

    Education Qualification (LLM): 55% in LLB for General And OBC, 50% for SC/ST/PH
    Age Limit (LLM): No age Limitation

    Common Law Entrance Test or CLAT exams are conducted by One of the National Law college each year
    This exam is conducted for admission to 14 Law coleges

    Eligibilty to sit in this Exam is : 12th pass with Minimum 45% marks for the candidates belonging to General and OBC candidates
    Minimum 40% marks for the SC/ST candidates.

    Age- Cut off date for calculating the age is 1st July 2013
    Maximum age to apply is 20 years for the General and OBC candidates
    SC/ST candiadtes can apply till 22 years of age

    CLAT exams subjects and Marks
    English including Comprehension 40 Marks
    General Knowledge/ Current Affairs 50 Marks

    CLAT : Common Law Admission Test which is an undergraduate program and you should have following eligibility criteria to apply for this examination or entrance test :

    Candidate must have passed class 12th or it's equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for all other as - SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc. from a recognized board

    If the candidate is appearing 12th class exams or awaited for the announcement of the result then he/she also apply for this exam

    Age of the candidate should not be less than 16 years and more than 20 years and the maximum age limit for general and OBC category candidates and 22 years age limit for SC/ST category candidates means they get the relaxation of 2 years in the examination

    If you belongs to SC or ST or PWD category then you may apply for this exam and if you are in general or OBC then there is no chance for you to apply for this exam

    ELIGIBILTY to apply for the CLAT exams are:

    Educational Qualifications : 12th Pass with Minimum 45% marks
    Age- Maximum age to apply is 20 years for the candidates belonging to Generala nd OBC category
    SC/ST candidates can apply till 22 years of age

    CLAT exams is scheduled for 12th May 2013

    Forms are being filled right

    If you belong to General or OBC category, than i am sorry to say that you cannot apply for the CLAT exams.

    Only if you belong to SC/ST category, than only you can apply to CLAT exams.

    * Candidate should be a citizen of India.

    Common Law admission Test(CLAT) is an all Indian entrance examination organized by Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur for pursuing LLB or LLM. There are CLAT examination one is CLAT UG examination and other is CLAT PG examination you are eligible for CLAT UG examination.
