Yes you will be eligible for CAT after BPP completion or you must be in final year to apply for CAT.

You just need 50% marks in aggregate and your total Graduation percentage should be 50% if you want to apply for CAT.

Those who belong to reserved category will get relaxation in marks and they need only 45% marks to become eligible for CAT.

So if you fulfill all these criteria then you must start your preparation for CAT because getting a top MBA college is very essential.

    Exam Pattern CAT:

The examination will have two sessions and seperate time will be allotted to both the sessions.

1st Session: Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability

2nd Session: Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning

There will be negative marks for wrong answers and you must be very careful while attempting the questions.

Eligibility for CAT Entrance examination :

CAT Stands for Common Admission Test that is conducted by Indian Institute of Management which is the highly reputed management institute in India and has so many branches in India. CAT is conducted as entrance examination for those students who wants to join full time MBA program or Post Graduate Diploma in Management in IIM and also for various institutes because scores of CAT is accepted in all over India and government colleges also provide admission in MBA program on the basis of scores of CAT so this is very essential entrance examination for all management aspirants and must appear for this

To apply for this test, you should have passed bachelor's degree examination of a recognized university. Final year pursuing candidates also may apply for this test. Age limit does not matter for this test means you may apply at any stage of the age but if you apply in final year and get qualified in this test and your degree percentage marks should be more than 50% and 45% in case of reserved category candidates so you have to try to score good marks in entrance examination and also in all academics and if you want to get sure admission in IIM for MBA program then you should complete following required eligibilities by IIM

If you are pursuing graduation through distance mode then also you may apply but must be in final year

    Hi,

It does not matter whether you are pursuing graduation through regular or correspondence mode. Only thing required is that you must pass graduation with minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university.

CAT stands for Common Aptitude Test

CAT is said to be the one of the most prestigious and tough entrance exam in India. It does justice to this as candidates qualifying CAT get admission in one of the top management institutes of the world – The Indian Institute of Management.

As mentioned you are pursuing graduation through BPP program, then there is no problem as to be eligible for CAT exam, you should possess a bachelor’s degree, and it can be from any mode of education i.e. regular or distance learning. And you should get minimum of 50% marks in graduation. However candidates belonging to reserved category like SC/ ST and OBC should have scored minimum of 45 % marks.

There are these sections of the CAT exam –

The CAT exam consists of these papers –

    Quantitative Ability

    Data Interpretation

    Verbal Ability

    Logical reasoning

The exam is multiple choice questions type and there is negative marking also.
