    Eligibility to appear in CAT for B.Tech 3rd year appearing candidate? Best English book for the preparation?

    i am a b.tech student,in 3rd year(6th sem).am i eligible to appear in cat for this year?and can you suggest some good books for preparation of cat for english?thank you

    SIR , as you are a 3rd year student of a b.tech. course , m sorry to inform that you are not eligible for CAT this year .

    but you can try next year .

    eligibility criteria ...:-

    1. you must have passed your graduation with any course and must get 55 % marks ,to be eligible for CAT .

    2. you must have passed your graduation with any course and must get 50 % if you are SC/ST student .

    3. the candidates appearing for thier last year can also apply for CAT EXAM.

    I am sorry to say but you are not eligible for CAT(Common Aptitude Test) this year.You will be eligible next year.CAT is the all India entrance exam for getting a in some top management colleges for admission in MBA.
    ELIGIBILITY FOR CAT
    * Students who are in the final year of B.Sc,B.Com,B.A,B.Tech,BBA pass out in thses discipline can appear for CAT.
    * There is no Age linit for CAT.
    * There is no maximum number of attempt for CAT.
    * There is no specific percentage required for being eligible for CAT.

    NO you are not eligible to sit in the CAT 2012 exams.
    You can appear in the CAT 2013 exams

    Min eligibilty for the CAT exams is Graduation Pass with Min 50% marks for General and OBC candidates
    Min 45% marks for SC/ST candidates

    Final year Graduation student can apply for the CAT exams

    Questions will be asked from the below sections in the CAT written tests:
    1-Quantitative Ability and DATA interpretation
    2-Verbal Ability and Logical reasoning

    Each section will have 30 questions
    Time given for Each section is 70 Minutes

    You should buy the below books for CAT preparation:

    Yes ,You can give CAT exam after completing B.tech engineering course.Cat exam is held

    november and octuber .CAT stand for Commen Admission test ,You can take admission

    after crack examintaion CAT and then you can take admission In top colleges.MBA is a

    I am sorry to say but you cannot appear for CAT exam being a 3rd year B.Tech student. The final year candidates are eligible only.

    CAT stands for Common Admission Test. The exam is conducted by IIM(Indian Institute of Management) for the admission of the candidates in MBA course.
    There are several type of specialization that you can apply like:



    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

    >>The candidates should have a bachelor degree in any stream with 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA from a recognized university.

    the eligibility criteria for cat exam - you have passed the degree from recognized university or 4-year students are also eligible to apply this exam. But 3-year students are not eligible for to write the exam .
    English books for cat exam are gre ,gmat exam books and you have good command on english language and aptitude.
    In our market ,we have lot of books for cat exam preparation. We have a lot of information in the internet and solve the previous exam papers.

    • Sorry to say, but you are not eligible to appear in the CAT exam being a 3rd year b.tech student.
    • CAT refers to common admission test, and this test is conducted by the Indian institute of management (Iim) for the admission in the master of business administration (MBA) program.
    • There is no age limit to appear in this exam.
    • You must have completed graduation in any stream from an recognised university.
    • Even final year students are also eligible to appear on the provisional basis.
    • Pre-final students are not allowed to appear in this test.
    • Check out the NCERT english book, it will help you.
