    Difference between GATE, GRE, GRE & GMAT?

    sir
    i am doing b.tech engineering 3rd year now.
    i am really very confused regarding my career.
    i can not decide whether to go in managments or do pg in technical field only.
    can i get a breif differance of gate,gre,cat and gmat please?
    so that i can decide

    Dear Friend,

    There are lots of difference between GATE,CAT,GRE and GMAT.

    GATE:

    Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE) is an all India entrance examination organized by Indian Institute of Technology for candidates who wants to join 2 years post graduation course M.Tech in some top institutes in India.
    ELIGIBILITY for GATE:

    -> Candidate who have pass B.E/B.Tech or M.Sc in Physics,Chemistry or Mathematics are eligible.

    -> Final year students are also eligible for GATE.

    -> Candidate who are in pre-final year or final year of 5 years Integrated Master degree are eligible.

    -> No minimum age qualification required in order to Qualify for GATE.

    GATE examination is conducted once in an year in the month of February/March.GATE score is valid for 2 years.
    CAT:

    Common Admission Test(CAT) in an all India management examination organized by Indian Institute of Managements(IIM) for candidates who wants to join 2 years post graduation course MBA in some top institutes of India.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR CAT:

    -> Candidate have to pass graduation or equivalent degree form recognized University.

    -> Candidate have to score at least 50% in graduation.

    -> Final year degree students are also eligible for CAT.

    -> Age must be at least 21 year.

    CAT examination is conducted ONLINE in the moth between October to December.

    GMAT:

    Graduate Management Admission Test(GMAT) is an International entrance examination for studying MBA in Foreign Universities.It is conducted 4 times in an year.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR GMAT:

    -> No specific academic qualification is necessary in order to qualify for GMAT.

    -> No Age barrier for GMAT.

    -> No limits in maximum attempts in GMAT.

    -> GMAT Score is valid up to 5 years.

    GRE:

    Graduate Record Examination is an International examination for candidate who wants to study Graduate and Post Graduate score in Foreign Universities.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR GRE:

    -> Candidate must have to obtain Senior Secondary degree form recognized Board/University.

    -> No age limit is required.

    -> Must have a valid passport.

    -> No maximum attempts for GRE.

    -> GRE score is valid till 5 years.
