BSNL or Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited recruits every year JTOs or junior telecom Officers, basically in three major categories, Telecom, Civil and Electrical. This recruitment of Junior Telecom officer is generally done through an examination, which is usually held in the last week of June.
As regards the eligibility is concerned, only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the post of JTO. Besides, he or she must possess Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering in Telecom, Civil and Electrical or any Equivalent degree form a recognized University Board or University. Candidates, who are in the final year, are also eligible to submit an application provided they have the required educational qualification on or before 31st December of the examination year.
As already mentioned, candidates are selected through an All-India based competitive Examination. The examination is of 3 hours and the question paper is divided into three sections, first two sections consist of 50 questions each, all from engineering stream, and the third section consists of 20 questions based on General Ability. Moreover, all the questions are of objective category with multiple options.

JTO Stands for Junior Telecom Officer,this examination is conducted by BSNL every year.

Eligibility for JTO :-

Degree in :-

Electronics
Electrical
Information Technology
Radios
Computer Science
Telecommunication.

Applicant's who are completed their graduate degree in engineering/technology from a recognized university or equivalent qualification and those in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination but 3rd year of degree course can not eligible to apply for this examination.

Applicant's age should be between 21 years and 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination and relaxation is given to the as per Govt.rules.

Reserved Categories :-

Three years for OBC.
Five years for SC/ST.
Ten years for PH.
Five years for Ex-Servicemen.

Hello friend,
As per current notifications that i have checked ,Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) has currently no recruitment for Junior Telecom Officers(JTO).BSNL has not yet declared any type of exam notifications for the recruitment of JTO's. But i am giving some information regarding the BSNL JTO exams which were held in the previous years.Mostly the selected candidates get a salary around Rs.18000 to Rs.45000.The age limit of the candidate must not have crossed 30 years. Candidate should have completed Bachelor of Engineering(B.E) or Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) or any other equivalent engineering 4 years degree in disciplines like Computer science or Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunication or Information and Technology or Insrumentation or Civil or Radio.
Candidate should download the application format which is available at www.bsnl.co.in when the application is released/declared.
Mainly the recruitment procedure follows two steps that is Written exam and an Interview.After this there will be certificate verification and some medical test.
The main subjects for Electronics and Telecommunication/Communication engineering branch student are Electronic devices, Network Theory, Analog and Digital Circuits, Analog and digital communications, Communication Systems, Operating Systems, Power Electronics, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Control System and Electromagnetic Theory.

JTO 2012 is mostly to be held during the month of April. The exact dates are not out tough.

The notification was done during february.

Students in their final year can also apply for the JTO exam.

The total vacancies are divided into 3 parts. Telecom, civil and electrical.

JTO Stands for Junior Telecom Officer if you interest to apply this exam then you have this eligibility criteria's.

==>The Applicant should be citizen of india

==>The Applicant complete bachelor of engineering or bachelor of Technology or equivalent qualification from recognized university and you have any one of the Specialization like Computer , Electrical Etc....

==>Final Year Candidates also eligible for this examination.

==>The Applicant age is not more then 30 years.
