    Hello friend,

    Joint entrance examination(JEE) conducted by Central board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

    JEE is conducted in two Section one is JEE(mains) and JEE (advanced).

    JEE mains is for admission into NIT's ,IIIT's and other self financed institutes.

    JEE advanced is for admssion into IIT's.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

    * The candidate must pass his 10+2 pattern or Class XII examination or its equivalent from a recognized university.

    * The candidate who are appearing in Class XII can also appear for JEE.

    AGE LIMIT:

    * The candidate should born on or after October 01, 1988 are eligible.

    * The candidate who belongs to SC/ST is relaxed up to maximum of 5 years.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

    * The candidate must pass his Class XII or its equivalent with an aggregate of 60% marks for General category.

    * The candidate who belongs to SC/ST , PWD category should pass with an aggregate of 55% marks.

    NO OF ATTEMPTS:

    * The candidate can attempt to a maximum of 3 consecutive attempts.

    PATTERN OF JEE MAIN EXAM:

    * PAPER I : For B.E/B.tech courses

    1. Duration : 3 hours

    2.Objective questions with physics,chemistry and mathematics with equal weight age.

    3. There is negative marking also.

    * PAPER II : For B.arch/Planning , Duration 3 hours

    Hi dear,

    The detailed eligibility criteria for IIT-JEE advanced is as follows
    -The candidate must pass 12th or equivalent in any recognized school/college/institution with PCM as compulsory subjects
    -The candidates appearing for 12th are also eligible to apply
    -The candidates born after 01,October 1988 are eligible to apply. SC/St relaxation is 5 years.
    -The candidate must atleast secure 60% marks in 12th. Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates
    -The candidate can at max appear for 3 attempts

    The paper will be held in 2 sittings.
    Both are compulsory and each sitting has questions of objective type.

    Hi friend...JEE(joint entrance examination) is conducted by CBSE every year as an entrance examination to IITs and NITs...The minimum educational qualification required to apply and write the JEE entrance exam is intermediate(12th) with 60% of marks in MPC(maths,physics and chemistry) stream from recognised institution/university...And a general category candidate can attempt the JEE exam 3 times only and for reserved candidates the number of attempts are as per the government regulations...ALL THE BEST...

    HI DEAR,

    FEE DETAILS: -

    Rs.1800/- general category
    Rs.900/- for SC, ST, PD
    No fee for all female candidates
    For candidates appearing from Dubai centre, the fees will be US$ 200

    The requisite fee has to be deposited between 8th and 13th May, 2013 in any branch of State Bank of India having Core Banking Services.

    Process of Payment of Registration Fees: -

    To pay the registration fees for JEE (Advanced) – 2013, a candidate needs to follow the following steps:-
    1. Fill up the online registration form completely.
    2. On completion of registration process the bank payment challan will be generated.
    3. Print the generated challan.
    4. Make the payment against the generated challan at any branch of State Bank of Indian (SBI) having Core Banking Solution (CBS).
    5. Get the counterpart of the challan endorsed by the bank.
    6. necessary documents viz.Send through speed post the photocopy of the challan along with the
      1. Class X mark sheet (if DoB is not mentioned in it then you have to send a DoB certificate)
      2. Class XII mark sheet if available; otherwise the declaration form mentioning that you will submit the mark list before 30th Sep 2013 (Monday)
      3. caste certificate as applicable;
      4. PD certificate as applicable and send all of them to the zonal IIT under which you have registered.

    STATUS OF REGISTRATION:-

    The status regarding the registration, including the receipt of payment, will be available on the JEE (Advanced) – 2013 website where the candidate had registered. If the receipt of it is not indicated within 72 hours of the payment, then you should contact JEE (Advanced) – 2013 office at IIT Delhi for clarification.

    ADMIT CARD

    For the JEE (Advanced) – 2013 examination, no hard copy of the admit card will be issued by any of the IITs.

    Each candidate needs to download his/her admit card from the corresponding JEE (Advanced) – 2013 websites.

    To download his/her admit card the candidate needs to enter his/her (i) JEE (Main) – 2013 registration number and (ii) Date of Birth (DoB) (dd/mm/yyyy). The admit card can be downloaded from 16th May 2013 (Thursday) onwards from the following sites

    Exam Pattern :-

    JEE Mains :- It is the Preliminary Exam Taken by IIT.After getting a valid Rank in this exam,you can take admission in NIT Engineering Colleges.

    JEE Advanced :- This will be the final exam taken by IIT in order to take admission in IIT Engineering colleges.You will only eligible to appear in this exam if you get your ranking under 1 Lakh in JEE Mains Exam.

    Syllabus for IIT-JEE Exam:-

    PAPER I

    3.Total duration will be 3 hours.

    PAPER II
