    I want to know which degree is satisfies for posts in banking exams?
    No matter which post i want a general a idea.

    Hello,
    As you do not have any particular idea on the post in banking exam, your minimum qualification is 10+2. It is sufficient for the clerical exams and for other exams any DEGREE is must.

    Eligibility differs according to post.For higher post higher eligibility.Let say for clerk & Po.Below is the eligibility
    A.Eligibility for Clerk
    1.12TH PASSED WITH AT LEAST 60%.OR SOMETIMES 55% DEPENDS ON BANK.OR SIMPLY GRADUATE FROM RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY.
    2.AGE MUST BE BETWEEN 18 TO 28 YEARS.
    3.AGE RELAXATION IN CASE OF SC/ST UP TO 5 YEARS.IN CASE OF OBC UP TO 3 YEARS.
    4.ENGLISH IS ESSENTIAL
    5.COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE IS IMPORTANT.
    6.FOR SC/ST/OBC 50%

    B.Eligibility for PO
    1.GRADUATE FROM RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY WITH AT LEAST 60%.FOR SC/ST/OBC 55%
    2.AGE SHOULD BE BETWEEN 21 TO 30 YEARS.
    3.AGE RELAXATION IS SAME FOR PO ALSO.
    4.COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE IS COMPULSORY

    Hello Benarjee,
    Acc. to recent educational qualifications for banks job ,a candidate should be graduate with any stream.For clerk to probationary officer elligibility criteria is same but for specialist officer or any other high ranked officer u must hold atleast b.tech degree or PG degree.

    Hai the minimum eligibility required for a bank job is inter with an aggregate of 55% for clerical exams however even 10th eligible candidates are allowed for the IBPS clerical exam. And for the PO's you should be a graduate with an aggregate of 60% in any discipline.

    In order to increase your chances in banking sector it is preferable to do post graduation in MBA.

    for clerk u will have passed 10+2 exams and for officer and other posts u will have passed your degree examinations with minimum 50% aggregates.

    Dear friend.. The Monimum Qualificatation recquired to get entry in the Bank any the lower post is

    +2.. You can become a Clerk after 12th.. And the Qualification Recquired for other Posts are..

    BBA, MBA, B.Com, M.Com etc... According to your Qualification You can Apply in the Bank Examination..

    Like An MBA can reach upto the post of a Manager and an BBA can Become a Assitant Manager..

    So apply according to your Qualification...

    1) IBPS Score Card
    2) Graduation in Any discipline with 55% (50% for SC/ST) for Probationary Officer
    3) XII standard in any discipline with 60% (55% for SC/ST) for Clerk

    A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10 std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM
    candidates a pass in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10 std.Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent
    OR
    A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11 Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/Diploma
    in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration.     You should be qualified in under graduation in any stream with minimum 60% percentage of marks in recognized university . if your belonging from sc/st candidates then the relaxation is given for 55% percentage of marks

    Bank Exam Requirements...

    In the Banking Sector there are so many openings for clerk post and
    probationary officers for this the most qualified degree is to be from any recognized university.For some Banks any degree is enough and they will recruit you and give some specialized training in that working culture of their Bank..In most of the Banks science and B.com(Banking Management) is enough for Banking sectors...

    If you want to apply for clercial post your minimum qualification should be +2 and if you want to apply for officer category like probationary officer you should have a graduation degree from any dicipline with different aggregate marks for different banks exams and different cast category you can say not less then 50% marks in graduation

    a candidate who have completed anydegree , can apply for this post .

    the eligibilty criteria is ,

    ~~ you should have secured a minimum of 55% in your degree
    ~~ you should have completed your degree from a recognised university
    ~~ your age should notbe morethan 30 years , if you belong to general category

    actually , the degree holders can apply for the post of PROABATIONARY OFFICER in DIFFERENT BANKS

    ACTUALLY , there many degree courses which will suits for bank jobs .

    some are ,

    The recruitment of probationary officer in public sector banks is based on written examination and interview. to be eligible for such written examination one needs to be hold a bachelors degree and be within the age limit of 21-30 years
    the Common written exam conducted by the IBPS, graduate in any discipline are eligible, irrespective of the marks secured in the same. However having a good academic record definitely help in the later stage of the selection procedure, but as far as the initial stage is concerned, no matter how much you scored you are eligible to apply for the examination.

    - If you want to join a banking job as a clerical post the the requirements are as follows:
    1. Minimum qualification 12th in any stream.
    2. The minimum marks required in 12th is 55% for a general category and 50% for others.
    3. Apply the form for clerical exam conducted by IBPS once in a year in which 19 PSU banks are involved and choose their employees on the basis of the result of IBPS.

    - If you want to apply for the PO posts in banks then the qualification required are :
    1. Minimum qualification is graduation in any stream.
    2. Minimum 55% is required for general category and 55% for the others.
    3. Apply the IBPS PO exam post in which 19 PSU banks are involved and this exam is conducted once in a year and this exam will be held on 17/06/2012.

    - If you want to apply for specialist officers in banks then special field degrees are required to appear in that exam like :
    * Specialist officer in IT field- degree required is BCA, B,Sc in IT, B.Tech in IT etc.
    * Specialist officer in law field- degree required is LLB 5 and 3 years course, LLM.

    There is no specific degree to apply bank job. There are various posts in bank and according to eligibility you are eligible to apply these posts.

    For example If you want to join in bank as clerk or as officer only 12th or graduation from recognized board or university is enough. Look in the following table which will give you more information.

    here i am giving you the education eligibility for the various bank exams;

    PO/Mg Trainees
    • Any degree from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
    • no Minimum marks are required in Graduation.
    Clerk exam Eligibility
    • Candidate must have 10+2 with 60% of marks for general candidates
    • 55% of marks enough in 10+2 for SC/ST Candidates
    • Any degree with pass marks from any recognized university.

    Specialist Officer eligibility
    • engineering degree from a recognised university or a masters degree or equivalent.
    see in all the above exams there is no mention about the subjects
    this means you can choose any subjects you like and still can give the BANKS exams.

    if you want to apply for Clerk post ,then 12th class is enough .

    But if you want to apply for PO posts then you must have graduation in any stream .

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: The candidates who wish to apply for the test need to have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university in India.

    Banking exam requires speed with accuracy. you should be well versed with analytical aptitude, logical reasoning and general awareness...

    Hello friend,
    For Banking posts normally for the clerical grades 12th pass grade is required and for other exams like P.O(Probationary Officer) and Specialist Officer etc. you must have completed your Graduation degree on any field like B.B.A,B.C.A,B.B.M.,B.Sc in Maths,B.Sc in Physics,B.Sc in Chemistry,B.Tech,etc. from a recognized university.

    60% of marks for general candidates and 55% for other reserved category candidates like SC/ST/OBC etc. are required.

    For clerical exams your age should be more than 18 but less than 28.
    For P.O and Specialist exams your age must be 21 or above but less than 30.

    To get a good rank you must have thorough knowledge in Reasoning, Aptitude, Objective english, Numerical ability, Computer knowledge & current affairs, Quantitative aptitude.

    You can visit I.B.P.S official website www.ibps.in which may help you to get more information about the I.B.P.S exam and you will get all necessary details there in order to fill your form online.

    You can pursue any degree to apply for the Bank exam. If you want to apply for the bank exam then i will give you the detailed information.

    for jobs in banks the minimum qualification must be 12th passed and after that as you apply for higher posts you will need a higher degree

    Banks are not mentioned which degree they need that means there is no restriction about degree course . The candidate can completed graduate degree in any discipline but it is equivalent to the graduate degree . If you want to join in Bank then you have to crack the bank examinations .



    Now most popular bank examination is IBPS ( Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ) . This Exam is gives the large no.of recruitment in different banks . IBPS conducts the various exam like Bank PO , Clerical , Specialist Officer .

    Specialist Officer examination is conducts for recruitment into differ specialist like I.T officer , Agriculture Officer , Rajbhaska Adhikari , Law Officer , Technical Officer , HR / Personnel Selection , Marketing Officer ....etc .

    eligibility for bank clerical exam is:
    You must have attend the age of 18 and you must have passed in 12th
    and for higher posts in banks
    You must require graduation from any streams..

    For banking exams qualification is - Graduation in any stream is must for PO as well as Clerk grade.
    For Specialist Officer - UG or PG in the specific field as per the vacancy is required, Like For IT officer B.Tech / M.Tech and for Marketing, MBA is required...
    Age for clerk maximum 28 and for UG maximum 30, for specialist officers 32 maximum..

    ELIGIBILITY FOR THE BANK CLERK EXAM:

    The exam pattern is below :
    Paper consists of five sections each of carry 50 objective type questions namely
    aptitude ,
    logical reasoning ,
    english ,
    general awareness and
    computer / marketing knowledge.


    One should get minimum require marks in each section for passing the exam


    After written test the selected candidates will be called for an interview .


    The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the written exam plus in the interview together .

    So choose any branch in which you interest and give the exam .
