IBPS Clerical exams which will be held for the first time through online mode in December 2012 and January 2013

Exams will be held for the below sections:
    >> Reasoning
    >> Numerical Abilty
    >> English Language
    >> General Awareness
    >> Computer Knowledge

All sections will have 40 questions and each question will have 1 marks.
So in total each section will carry 40 marks and total test score will be 200 marks.

Cut off score is not told by IBPS before the test.
Cut offs are announced after the result has been announced of the Clerical exams.

But you should just concentrate on your Preparation.
Try to score atleast 25 marks in each section and your overall score should be more than 140 marks out of 250.
If you score this marks you will have good chance to face interview.

Cut off marks depends on these factors -

    Total number of vacancies

    Total number of candidates applying

    Total number of successful candidates

Based on these points, the cut off marks are decided.

These marks are decided after the declaration of IBPS results.

Though , qualifying marks in IBPS common written exam are -

For general category - 24 marks in each subject

For OBC, SC ST category - 21 marks in each subject.

So, keeping the qualifying marks in mind, prepare for the exam.

    IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern:

    1.Reasoning-40 Marks

    2. Quantitative Aptitude-40 Marks

    3.Computer Knowledge-40 Marks

    4.General Awareness-40 Marks

    5.English Knowledge-40 Marks

The cut off marks for the written exam cannot be predicted on the before hand, because they depend on the various factors such as number of candidates applying for the exam, number of people attempted the exam and toughness of the paper.

So, cut off marks are released only when the results are out.

So, its better to score 50% in each section as there will be sectional cut-off.
