    What is the critaria the pcs/ias . Please give the details I mean the what is the critaria of the IAS/PCS exams....

    Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and Indian Police Services examinations are conduct by UPSC once every year.

    These Examinations are consider as one of the most competitive selection processes in the world.


    3 stages in IAS/IPS which student need to clear.

    • Preliminary Examination
    • Main Examination
    • Interview

    Minimum Eligibility for IAS and IPC
    • Graduation in any discipline from recognized university
    • Age - 21 to 30 years
    There is also some physical fittness criteria which candidate need to fullfill.

    There is difference in IAS and IPC Physical Fittness criteria.

    Eligibility conditions for IAS and PCS exams are almost same.
    PCS stands for Punjab Civil Service and IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service conducted by Civil service exam conducted by UPSC.

    Eligibility conditions are
    IAS PCS

    Educational qualifications You must have a graduation degree Same as IAS conditions
    From any recognized college

    Age limit Your age should be between The age limit for this exam is maximum 35 years
    21-30 years if you belong to GC. and upper age limit is also provided
    21-33 for OBC, 21-35 for Sc/ST
    21-40 for PH

    Nationality Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal Same of IAS
    or Bhutan

    Selection process Prelims, Mains and an Interview Same of IAS


    If you satisfy the minimum conditions mentioned above then you can apply for IAS/PCS exam.

    Indian Administrative Service Exam
    This Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Exam(CSE) and this exam is conducted by Every Year. If you apply this examination you should be Satisfied the Eligibility Criteria then you can apply for this examination.

    Eligibility Criteria For Civil Service Exam:-

    The Candidate Should be citizen of India and the Candidate should be complete the bachelor degree or Engineering Degree from recognized university and who are in final year student those candidates also eligible for this examination and the Candidate age limit should between 21 to 30 years and upper age relaxation is applicable for this examination and the Candidate should be medically fit For this examination.

    Number Of Attempts:-

    For General Category Candidate 4 attempts and for OBC Category Candidate's 7 Attempts and SC/ST Category Candidate's No Limit to attend This examination.

    Exam Pattern:-




    After Completing the Main Exam You will call upon Personal Interview if you select the Personal Interview after training you to become a IAS Officer.

    Eligibility for IAS:-

    1.Bachelor's degree in any stream by a recognized University.

    2.Age must be in between 21-30.

    Upper age Relaxation:-

    1.SC/ST -upto a minimum of 5 yrs.

    2.OBC-upto a minimum of 3 yrs.

    3.Ex service personnel-upto a minimum of 5 yrs.

    4.No of attempts for written examination :-

    1.For general candidates Four attampts.

    2.7 attempts of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs .

    Paper format for prelims-:

    1. Optional Subjects (300 marks).

    2. General Studies (150 marks).


    PCS exam eligibility criteria:-

    1. U should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

    2.U should have punjabi as one of ur subject in the matriculation exam.

    3.Ur age should be between 21-35 years of age.

    Well

    You must have a minimum of GRADUATION

    And the minimum age must be 21 years

    And there is a relaxation for the reserved candidates


    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    You must be an INDIAN CITIZEN


    OBC - 3 years

    SC/ ST -- 5 years

    OC -- No relaxation

    IAS / PCS exams are conducted by UPSC.

    UPSC – Union Public Service Commission

    The criteria for IAS / PCS exams are –

    The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

    The candidate should have bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university.

    The candidate’s age should be between 21 years to 30 years, if general category.

    If OBC, then 21 years to 33 years.

    If SC /ST , then 21 years to 35 years.

    The number of attempts are-

    For general – 4 times

    For OBC – 7 times

    For SC/ ST – No limit

    The IAS exam is conducted in three stages –

    Preliminary stage

    Main exam followed by an interview.

    I A S : INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE.


    These exam is the one of the Tuffest exam and the exam is conducted by the UPSC.


    Educational Qualification :

    A degree from any recognized university with any stream.

    The candidates who are awaiting for the results of final year are also eligible.


    Nationality :


    Only Indians are eligible for IAS or IPS.


    AGE Limit :

    A candidate must have the 21 years and not be over of 30 years.

    The upper age limit is relax-able to the special categories as,

    To apply for IAS examination, you should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and those candidates who are awaited for final year result or pursuing final year examination may also apply

    Age should be between 21-30 years and relaxation in upper age as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC

    Number of Attempts

    General Category candidates 4 times

    OBC Category candidates - 7 times

    SC and ST category candidates - no limit but only till the completion of 35 years of age

    This year's civil service preliminary examination has been conducted at 26th of May 2013 that is why next civil service prelims examination will be conducted in next year and I would like to suggest you to make your focus more on next year's civil service examination because you have a long time prepare and you may easily qualify if you give more time for this exam
