The problem is my dreams are divided by two courses which are, IT and Computer Science.

Computer Science VS Information Technology - Which is better in:

3) Dominant
4) salary package
5) future scope

almost all the aspects are same in IT CSE by 80 %.

what all matters is IT is the present development and CSE includes all the basics pertinent to computers.

A cse Grad can well manage in IT than a IT managing CSE.

coming to salary package, jobs. future. CSE is better than IT.

Even IITs NITs UNIv offer CSE course not IT in graduation.

evan Govt jobs will ask u graduation in CSE not in IT.

INFo tech is a private course started iin many collleges in 1990-95

better u go for comp science.

all the best

Hmmm…this is something complex ….u see IT has aroused far later after CSE….if we wud be working in cities of U.S or U.K. ,I wud have preferred u to go for IT …because there, companies are more IT based ….
IT is a more general term than computers …u can think of IT to be a combination of 3 branches of engg. i.e. computers, electronics & telecommunication ……hence IT is both hardware n software based ….whereas computer science students are limited to study only computer architecture n programming languages …..
If I were to suggest to for a field that can help u get a more diverse audience for recruitment in future,I wud refer IT to u ,but as this is a world of specialization n the recession is still not completely gone ,I wud prefer u to stay wid computers ,that will help u stay deeply knowledged about ur field …..
Now lets come to answer ur options ….
1) Job opportunity:IT
2) level of difficulty:computers
3) Dominant:IT
4) salary package:IT
5) future scope:Computers
Hope I helped u clear ur confusions!

Dear friend,

in mu suggestions if you have a interest in Computers and want to success in life than go for the following courses instead of IT.
1 B.Sc (Computer Science) + MCA
2 B.Sc (Hons.) in Mathematics + MCA (Best Course)
3 B.Sc (Hons.) Computer Science + MCA (Best course)

The compete reason about crossing the above course instead of IT is given below:

After by any above courses you will be successful computer software engineering or other fields of computer infuture.
Reason to choose that course because whenyou develop any software there is need of mathematics but when you do the IT courses like BCA there is only minor mathematics syllabus. But in the other there isparticular subject of mathematics which help you in crack the test of MCAor developing software. And also mathematical students + computer fields students most success in computer field instead of only from the computer side because they always develop the software with the help of the Mathematical students.

Above course are little hard but not more. if your aim to do something in computer field than choose any of the above course. Also if you have done any of the above course than there are many different lines or scope but if you do IT than only there is one line that is IT.

best of luck

hi,

Its so simple friend.
If you wanted to do in B.Sc degree you can go for Information Technology Or if you wanted to do Engineering you can go for Computer Science.

The differences are,

IT means application & software oriented.
CS means application and Hardware Oriented.

1) Job opportunity - Software Engineer

2) level of difficulty - Mostly Easier 20% difficult

3) Dominant - Yes it is Dominant course

4) salary package - From 20000 to 500000 p.m

5) future scope - Exellent

ALL THE VERY BEST...!

Hello Dear,
To the best of my knowledge CSE is the best and mostly preferred branch over IT.CSE is leading in all aspects. It is advanced.A cse Grad can well manage in IT than a IT managing CSE.In the aspect of salary package, jobs and a bright future CSE is better than IT.Even IITs & NITs offer CSE course not IT in graduation. So plan and prepare well.Good Luck.
Best Wishes.

Hai friends

both computer science and information technolgy are equall courses ,the two courses are beloning to the software engineering side jobs
doing computer science is better in present condition,
in engineering college's the it courses is not having ,because their is so must demand in present condition
so it better to do graduation is computer science engineering

for the fresher first their give traning for 2-3 months
after that their put exam ,in that exam who qualified can take into the company

for the fresher ,the minimum salary is 2 lacks per an annum

for the experince candidate ,5 lacks per an annum

difficulty level is maximum

dominant ,the courses is dominanting courses

in future it is having better future

hope it is use full to u

good luck

Hello friend,
In engineering two different streams are Computer Science and Engineering(CSE) and Information Technology(IT).
Two streams are slightly different but lots of similarities between them in carrier prospective.
You tell that you are interested in Computer,Programming, web designing.
For these you have to learn languages like C/C++,Java,HTML,XHTML,Macromedia Flash languages.
In both subjects you can set you carrier in IT sector as a software developer.
Companies responsible for Campus are TCS,WIPRO,INFOSYS,ACCENTURE,IBM,HCL,DELL,CTS,AMAZO N etc
They regular recruit students.
Expected salaries in these sector as a Fresher is 25000/- to 30000/-
In future you can go for jobs in web designer or animation or game developer as you interested.
Another course you can do for your ibterest after graduation is MCA.
Best of luck.

Both the streams include the knowledge of computer and languages. But Computer science branch has more importance in software field, because the subjects covered in CS are more compared to IT. You will have better exposure to computer languages in CS branch.
Now coming to salary point of view, it doesnot make any diffrence once you are recruited by the companies. Neither is your salary package affected. And they both channelize you to software industries which has bright scope.

The CSE and IT are approximately the equivalent course or you can say that suplement of each other. The job opportunity is also approx same for both if the branch but little more for the CS branch because in CS the course is completely focused on the computer programming and software while in IT we have to do some topics of hardware and electronics.
Due to this some of the companies prefer IT student most but over all CS students has little more opportunities for the job.... and difficulty level & salary is more or less same for both of the branch ..............
