    hy i am giving paper of b.com second year the result is abdated and i am secured 55.33% in b.com Ist year can i eligible for giving cat exam of 2012 ?

    No. you are not eligible for taking up CAT exam this year. You can only take it up after you finish your 3 yrs of course. you have to submit your final aggregate which must be above 50%. you can start preparing for the CAT! its ideal that you pratice more. lot of study material is available online. make the best use of them.

    No , your not eligible for CAT Examination , If your in final year then only your eligible to apply for CAT examination .

    CAT :- Common Admission Test . The Examination is conducted by Indian Institute of Management .

    Eligibility criteria :-

    You should be complete your graduation in any stream from recognized university / Institution . You should score 50% percentage of marks . if your belong from sc/st candidates then relaxation is given for 5% percentage of marks .

    Note :- Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for cat examination or waiting for result may also eligible to apply for this examination.

    You may apply for CAT Examination in Online or Offline mode .

    The Fee structure for CAT Examination you have to pay Rs :-1400 for general candidate and Rs :-700 for SC and ST candidate .

    For CAT Examination you have go through the syllabus like :- Quantitative Aptitude , Data Interpretation , Problem Solving , Quantitative Problems , Reading Comprehension , Verbal Ability , Data Sufficiency , Logical Reasoning . The admission process for CAT Examination is based on written Examination / Interview .

    The score card for cat examination is valid for one years .

    Yes you are eligible because in this year you are appearing in the final year exam. And the minimum qualification for the CAT test is graduation from any stream with 50% for General/OBC category and 45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.     *yes,you are eligible for tha CAT Exam.For attend the exams you have to produce a certificate from the Principal or Head of the Department or Director of the university institution certifying that the candidate has obtained 50% marks or equivalent based on latest available grades/marks.

    Candidates in the final year of bachelor's degree or equivalent,or the candidates who have completed degree requirement can apply for CAT exam. the candidate must require at least 50% marks in the final degree... relaxation of 5% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

    mo you are not eligible for cat exam you must have graduate degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks then only you can apply but you are in second year so you are not eligible.

    No,you are not eligible to apply for CAT examination.



    CAT :- Common Admission Test and this examination is conducted by Indian Institute of Management Once in a year.

    Eligibility for CAT :-

    The applicant should be possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and the applicant must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in their examination(45% aggregate marks for SC/ST and other reserved categories0.

    The applicant who are studying in the final year of degree course may also eligible but 1st year or 2nd year candidates are not eligible to apply for CAT examination.

    This year notification was not released and last year of cat examination results was available in official website.

    Eligibility for C.A.T exam:-

    Those candidate have above 50% in graduation are eligible for CAT exam.For SC/ST candidate this marks is decreased to 45% in graduation.

    Final year student of graduation are applicable for CAT exam .There is no age criteria for the Candidate.

    CAT Stands for Common Admission Test. It is an entrance exam for MBA. CAT is conducted by IIM's every year once in the month of October.

    To eligible CAT Exam you must have completed your graduation or you must be in final year of graduation. But as you are in second year of B.Com you are not eligible this year.
    You are eligible for CAT in next year i.e 2013. Do not get panic you can utilize this time for preparation of CAT Exam. Other information about CAT is provided below.

    Eligibility criteria for CAT :-


    - You should have a minimum of 3 years of the Bachelor's degree recognized by university.
    - You should score a minimum 50% of the marks (45% for the SC/ST/Disabled person)
    - If you are in final year of graduation then also you can apply.


    CAT Exam Pattern :



    The duration of CAT is 2 hours and 30 minutes including initial 15 minute tutorial. There are a total of three sections in the test. There will be about 60 questions in the test.

    there is no such specification on any years' marks ..........it is always the aggregate after your graduation which is CONSIDERED as eligibility criteria for exams

    By CAT(Common Aptitude Test) you can get admission to IIMs and some eminent management colleges and B-Schools which accepts CAT scores for admission



    MARKS ELIGIBILITY FOR CAT

    50% aggregate in graduation from any recognized university in INDIA

    45% for SC/STs


    so ....you need not to worry anymore or feel down......... you got alot of marks for 1st year......keep working hard.....you will be able to crack CAT

    practice mathematical problems,tricky aptitudes

    practice English a lot......English portion of CAT is very tough

    no you are not eligible for the CAT exam as you are in just 2nd year of your graduation
    for CAT exam one needs to be graduate from a recognised university with minimum of 50% marks

    Common Aptitude Test is aall india Online based test for suding Post graduation course MBA in some Top Management Institudes
    You are eligible for CAT 2013but not in this year.
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
    Final year student or pass out Graduates in any streams(Science,Arts,Commerce) can apply for CAT.
    Final year or pass out Students in B.TECH/BBA/BCA or any equivalant degree can apply for CAT.
    Student must score at least 50%(45% for SC/ST) inhis Bachelor degree.
    There is no age linit and no. of attemts for appearing for CAT.

    I am sorry to inform you that you cant apply for CAT in 2012 as per eligibilities .....:-

    eligibility criteria ...:-

    1. you must have passed your graduation with any course and must get 55 % marks ,to be eligible for CAT .

    2. you must have passed your graduation with any course and must get 50 % if you are SC/ST student .

    3. the candidates appearing for thier last year can also apply for CAT EXAM.

    YES even if you are pursuing the graduation degree through distance learning mode you can apply for the CAT exams
    Provided that the degree is taken from a UGC recognised institute or college

    Min eligibilty to appear in the CAT exams is graduation pass with min 50% marks
    Now CAT exams are held only through Online Mode

    There will be two papers:
    Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
    Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning

    70 minutes will be given for each section and total number of questions is 30

    ~Now at first year you are not eligible for write CAT exam.
    ~When you will come in final year of graduation then you can give CAT exam under RA(Result Awaited) Category.
    ~To give CAT exam candidate pass graduation with atleast 50% from racognized university or equivalent and 45% for SC/ST category candidate.

    • CAT which is common admission test conducted by IIM'S for the entrance into MBA course at various reputed institute.
    • As per the criteria of eligibility, you need to have cleared the graduation in any stream with minimum 50% from an recognised university.
    • The sc/st needs only 45% if you belong to that category.
    • Since you are an b.com second year, you are not eligible to appear in this exam now.
    • But an final year student are allowed to appear in that exam as an provisional basis and they have to provide passing certificate with required marks.

    Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level exam organized by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)

    Eligibility criteria for CAT:

    Candidate must be a graduate with 50% average grades in his/her graduation.

    Final year students can also apply for the exam.

    You can attend the personnel interview and you have to submit letter from your principal or Director saying about your latest grades.

    If you are in 3rd year now, you are eligible to give CAT Exam.CAT Examination Pattern:

    This exam is designed to examine three different skills of a candidate.

    a) Quantitative skills

    b) Verbal skills and

    c) Logical and data interpretation skills.

    Test comprises of total 60 objective type questions.

    Selection Procedure of CAT

    Selection procedure of CAT Exam is of two steps in which first step is written test.

    Post clearance of written examination you will have to attend personnel interview.

    Examination Format of CAT

    CAT is an online exam.

    At the time of attending personnel interview you will have to carry photocopy of all the documents and if you are selected you will have to submit originals of all certificate.


    Registration for present year closed i.e on 19th September, you have to wait for next notification.

    Yes,you are eligible to sit oon the examination as the eligibility is 50% marks but do take care thatt after you complete your B.Com you should have percentage above 50% otherwise you will not fall in the eligibility of CAT.

    No,you are eligible to sit in the examination beacause you are in first year only final year and hose who have completed graduation are eligible for the exam .The eligibility is 50% marks in Graduation do take care that after you complete your B.Com you should have percentage above 50% otherwise you will not fall in the eligibility of CAT.
