Hello,
ICAI has told in their guidelines that any candidate who has completed their UG can sit for CA - IPCC level directly, i.e. they are exempted from CPT.
So you can surely enrol for IPCC and sit for the exam..

First you should know the structure of CA Course. I am giving the sturure of CA Course in detail.
To become CA You have to clear following exams :
CPT
It is an objective test of 200 marks having four sections, which can be classified as follows-
Fundamentals of Accountancy
Economics
Quantitative aptitude
Mercantile law
Each of the above section is of 50 marks.
IPCC
The exam consists of seven papers divided into two groups. Both groups are required to be cleared to qualify this exam.
CA FINAL
This exam can be appeared only after qualifying IPCC. But before that you should have completed three years of article ship training under a Chartered Accountant having a certificate of practice of working as a professional in India.
Now about Your eligibility :
The Central Council has approved the new announcement of allowing a graduate student to directly join the IPCC course without writing CA-CPT Exam.
The council announced that the eligibility criteria for the graduates to write IPCC directly is as under:
In case of a Commerce Graduate – 55%
In case of a Non-Commerce Graduate – 60%
As you have commerce graduate and having 80% you can directly apply IPCC Course.

YES , as far as it is concerned from ICAI ,you can apply directly for IPCC without appearing for CPT .
for that you must have above 55 % marks in your graduation if you are a commerce student and 60 % if you are a non-commerce student .
but it is not cleared by the union govt. ,so ,wait for the final conclusion .

IMPORTANT THING :
- if candidate complete 12th means they can join foundation courses like cpt its eligible
- if candidate complete under graduate means they can join ipcc level they are eligible
- if any can complete ippc level they eligible to atten the final level program .

- Yes definately you can join the IPCC course directly without clearing CPT course.
- Recently amendements have been made in entry for the IPCC and articleship.
- IPCC refers to Integrated professional competence course.
- You must have completed the graduation/post graduation with minimum 55% in an commerce stream.
- For other stream, you must have minimum 60% in the graduation/post graduation.
- Even final year student can apply for the Ipcc examination as an provisional basis.
- There is a separate form for the registration of IPCC.
