IES(India Engineering Service) is a class 1 job in the Indian Central government.you need to crack the civil service exam of IES in order to get this job!!

21-30years(GENERAL)
21-33years (OBC)
21-35 years(SC/ST)
21-40 years(PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED)
~Nationality
The applicant must be citizen of India, subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, Indian origin who have migrated from selected countries in order to settle in India permanently.
Educational Qualification
Degree in Engineering(MECHANICAL,CIVIL,ELETRICAL,ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION) final year students can also apply on provisional basis. Additionally, the candidates have to be physically fit as per the guidelines of UPSC.
So you can see that there is no mention of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY in the eligibility criteria .so consequently you will not get a question paper based on subjects related to INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ..you will be given paper on either of the 4 streams mentioned above . SO YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE!!!
You can try for jobs in IT firms like

- WIPRO
- INFOSYS
- CTS
- ACCENTURE
- HCL
These companies also provide good salary with high incentives to their employees!!!
