Can I appear for IITJEE after giving 12th improvement exam?

Sir ,I have secured 77.4%marks in class 12th.But when I come to know that IIT JEE pattern has changed and percentage cutoff has changed from 60%to approximate 80% then i shocked completely because at this time i am not eligible for IIT because my board 5 is less than 80%.It is my dream that i want to be an IITIAN.So I have decided to give improvement exam.Sir can i appear after improvement exam in IIT when i will get above 80%marks .

    Dear friend,

From next year, ISEET will be implemented and it will replace IIT-JEE and AIEEE.

ISEET is further divided into two stages i.e. JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.
To get admission in IITs, you will have to qualify both exams.

For getting eligible for JEE Mains, you must have at least 60% marks or above in 10+2.
But for getting eligible for JEE Advanced, you must be in the Top 20 percentile of your respective Board.
For example:- CBSE candidates must have secured at least 77.8 marks or above to be in the Top 20 percentile.

However, final decision about ISEET has not come yet about its eligibility. So, there is still suspense whether they will accept Improvement Marks or not.
