    Can a 17 years old 12th standard student appear for JIPMER entrance test 2012?

    I have attained the age of 17 years. Now I am studying in 12th Standard. Can I attempt the JIPMER entrance test 2012?
    Otherwise my 1 year will be lapsed.

    Age Qualification for JIPMER MBBS

    Students between the age group of 17-25 years can apply for JIPMER MBBS exams. Relaxation will not be given for any category of students.

    Thus you can surely appear for the JIMPER entrance test 2012.

    yaa sure you can apply for the JIPMER entrance exam, the eligibility criteria for this exam is given as follows:-
    Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for JIPMER MBBS 2012 Entrance Exam. Also applicant must have completed last 2 years of study program form school based in India.
    • Date of Birth: The candidate should have born on or before 01st January, 1995
    • Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed higher/senior secondary examination (10+2) with minimum 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and a pass in English for UR and 45% for UR-OPH and 40% for SC/ST/OBC

    JIPMER MBBS Exam 2012 is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) Pondicherry. Students who have completed 10+2 are eligible for JIPMER MBBS Exam 2012. Age limit to appear in this exam is 17-25 years, and there is no relaxation for any category. Hence, age criteria suits you to attempt this exam.

    Yes, my friend yo are eligible for the exam.
    Because eligibility says that people between the age of 17-25 years, may appear for the exam.
    And your aggregate must be more than 50% in physics, chemistry or bio.

    minimum 17 year


    and maximum

    25 year

    and at a present time you are 17 year ols so you can be appear in that test ,,....

    ya friend off -course you are totally eligible to give that test at the age of 17 year old ...because as per jipmer managmrnt commitee the age limitaion are following

    1.minimum 1 7 year

    2.maximum 25 year


    and you are at a 17 year so you can give that test

    J.I.P.M.E.R --- JAWAHARLAL INSTITUTE OF POST GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH


    You must have a HIGHER SECONDARY education ( 12th class )


    You must have secured a minimum of 50% in Academics


    There will be relaxation for the Reserved candidates ,... ( SC/ ST / OBC / PD )

    For them they must have secured 40%


    With the 12TH QUALIFICATION you are eligible to apply for it


    The minimum age is " 17 " years


    Maximum age is allowed up to " 25 " years


    So YOU ARE DEFINITELY ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE EXAM


    Foreign Students are not Eligible to Write this Test

    ya friend off -course you are totally eligible to give that test at the age of 17 year old ...because as per jipmer managmrnt commitee the age limitaion are following

    1.minimum 1 7 year

    2.maximum 25 year

    1.Age limit is 17-25 .
    2.You should have studied biology physics chemistry and english in 12th.

    Jawaharlal Institute of postgraduate medical education and research (JIPMER) is the one of the leading medical institution of India.

    Eligibility for JIPMER:


    You must have qualified English as one of the electives.

    The Secondary / Higher Secondary /Indian School Certificate Examination considered equivalent to 10+2 exam taken after 12 years of study, of which two last years’ study must have comprised Chemistry, Physics, Biology / Mathematics and Bio – Technology

    The minimum aggregate that must have been scored by the candidate to be eligible under Eligibility Criteria in the above mentioned subject combination is 50% (GEN) and 40% (OPH/OBC/ST/SC).

    The general category OPH candidates will have to score a minimum aggregate of 45% to be declared eligible as per Eligibility Criteria of JIPMER 2013.

    If you have passed any exam other than the list of exams specified in the brochure of JIPMER 2013 have to submit an Eligibility Certificate which has been obtained from Association of Indian Universities at New Delhi.
