    GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
    Basically it is an all INDIA level entrance examination held for engineering graduates who wants to pursue post graduation course in engineering i.e. M.Tech

    !!! Eligibility Criteria !!!

    Graduates in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such courses
    Graduates in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (Post-B.Sc./Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such courses
    Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree courses in Engineering/Technology.

    u want to prepare for gate in chemical engineering,first u want to pass b.e with minimum pass %,so now u can write the gate exam,second know very much about the subjects,and learn u r core branch subjects
