Re: Which is best option after B.Tech among M.Tech and MBA?

The answer of your question is not only M.Tech is best and not only MBA is best. The whole thing is depend upon your interest , your abilities , skills.

You have to think over selection of course as these course are drastically different from each other. Your future career is depend upon this decision.

According to me you should not made any decision on the basis of Scope. Because both M.Tech and MBA are having good scope and job value. Only the working area is different.
So dont make decsion on Scope of these courses.

The best way of selecting among MBA and M.Tech is to ask your self in which course you will be happy and having interest. Your qualities and skills match with which course. If you think in this way then your decision will not be get fail.

It depends on your choice, you can choose your post graduation degree based on subjects, expected career and future.
If you go with M.Tech: you can go for academics, research, as a lecturer, professor in institutes and for higher studies in the subject.
If you go with MBA: you can either choose finance, marketing, HR, retail etc. You can work for national or international companies. MNCs, firms preferably take B.tech-MBA because they have technical+market strategies knowledge also.

But the final choice entirely depends on you

SO, YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD COMMAND ABOUT IT . WHEREAS , MBA IS NOT A TECHNICAL COURSE .2) AS YOU ARE FROM CSE , YOU WILL HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGE AMONG ALL OF YOUR CORE SUBJECTS IN B.TECH WHICH WILL HELP YOU IN M.TECH ALSO FOR EASY LEARNING3) THE SUBJECTS IN YOUR B.TECHARE REPEATED OR EXTENDED IN M.TECH , WHICH WILL BE EASY FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND4) YOU CAN ALSO FIND MANY JOBS AFTER M.TECH IN GOVERNMENT SECOTR ITSELF .THERE ARE JOBS FOR YOU IN PRIVATE SECTOR ALSO . BUT , YOU WILL HAVE MANY JOBS IN GOVERNMENT SECOTR ITSELF5) SOME JOBS YOU CAN APPLY AFTER M.TECH IN ALL THESE CORE COMPANIES ARE ,--> IOCL--> ONGC--> SAIL--> GAIL--> DRDO--> ISRO--> BHEL--> BSNL--> BARC , etc . . .SO, IT IS GOOD TO GO FOR M.TECH

Dear aspirant it depends opon your interest what you want to do. If you want to further enhance your knowledge in your field and want to enter in research field of engineering then you should go for M.Tech.

But if you want to change your field then you should go for MBA and MBA is one of the most rewarding degrees .
If you have done MBA from IIM then you will have very good starting salary.

But to enter into IIM you have to clear CAT with very good percentile if you want to do your MBA from a good institute.

    BEST OF LUCK....

    Hello friend,
Adter B.Tech you wants to go to either B.Tech or MBA.
These two offers two different options in your carrier.
If you are interested in business field like Business adminstrator the MBA is a good option for you.It offers good salary than even M.Tech engineer. But you have to think of certain thing such as Course fees in top institude which is presently over 15 Lakh.you have to prepare for COMMON APTITUDE TEST for getting admission for MBA in business instudes. For preparing for CAT you have to study very carefully.
On the other hand if you wants to stay in Corporate sector or in Teaching line then it is better to do M.Tech course.By doing so you can go for Assistant Professor of engineering colleges or you can be in some IT Companies. For doing M.Tech you have to appear for GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING.This exam is much easier than CAT and the syllabus is also same as engineering in B.Tech.
So both two are useful for carrier. It is all about whoch stream you select.
    Best of luck.

When you are already in Engineering or Technical Streams then what do you need to go for any other management stream because there is a huge scope of this course and if you do M.Tech then you may get so many opportunities in your career and you will get very good placement in some multinational companies because all companies wants technical skill in candidates so you have good qualification with skills then you may be hired easily and if you choose MBA then you are going to take your career to the new way and you do not have enough knowledge about that way so you should think that when you are already in this line so why should you leave it so go for M.Tech and complete it with good percentage marks.

    All the best

Re: Which is best option after B.Tech among M.Tech and MBA?

    Hello dear,

To opt for MTech or MBA depends on your choice of getting the technical job or management job.
Regarding the career perspective both the options are great and you have good salary growth in both streams.

The real scenario is that for MTECH, you need to qualify Gate and try to get IIT colleges or top 4-5 NIT colleges.
If you are getting any other college, then you will again get a job of average salary of 3-4 lac per annum.
So if you want to gain aome thing extra compared to BTech, you must try to do MTech from IIT colleges otherwise
you'll get the job of similar salary which Btech folks are getting and you wont gain any thing extra after
investing 2 more years in Mtech.

Regarding MBA, you need to give CAT or XAT exam. As in MTech, you also need to try for getting top 20 colleges of India,
if you want to taste the real flavor of MBA. Beyond top 20 colleges, there are only few colleges which can offer
you good placement of salary of 7-10lac per annum.

So in my opinion both the options are great, you need to decide based on your interest. One more thing is that
competition for good colleges for MTech is less compared to competition in MBA.

    hello sir!

    Why M.tech?

generally master degree used for research and development (R&D)side.
==>in b.tech we can learn subject not in depth so for that choosing M.tech selecting particular stream is good for R&D.
==>after M.tech you will do P.hd in particular stream where you can learn new things.
==>for becoming a lecturer also M.tech is good option.

    Why MBA?
in MBA so many streams are there to choose like accounts, human resource, finance dept.
if you have strong communication skills then choosing HR manager is good.
as B.tech guy doing MBA in VIT or good university is preferable.

    all the best.

    hello
both the studies are very good ,in their own place,it is upto you to choose the one which you like the most
1)MBA-stands for master of buisness administration and as the name suggests it deals with the management related facts, and every sector whether software, non software every sector requires management,as without management no will be able to execute anything in a correct manner, you must understand that even our family is managed by our father, and without his management it would be completely impossible to achieve any thing.
2)M.TECH-stands for master of technology, just like b.tech is bachelor of technology similarly m.tech is masters in technology, after completing you will be masters and your options will open up much more compared to b.tech, after completing naster you can also apply for job of college professor and lecturer jobs.
it is up to you to decide which one to choose for your self, both of them are good but it also matter which subject you like to get in to.

    • Both the Degree i.e MBA and M.tech are post graduate course which is duration of two years and of four semester.
    • Both are related to different field, so the selection of any course would depend upon your interest.
    • If you have an interest related to business, management and their aspects then you need to proceed for the MBA.
    • But if your's interest is related to technology and their related aspects then M.tech would be great choice.
    • M.tech would not be more difficult for you in comparision to MBA, since you are from B.tech.
    • From the salary point of view, which would be depend upon the kind of institute you have pursued the respective course.
