    Hi friend,

    NTSE Stands for "National Talent Search Examination". It is a flagship activity of the NCERT in the year 1965 to find out the talented minds.

    Eligibility: All the student of class 10 of any recognized education board is eligible for the first stage.


    Exam-Pattern: The Examination is divided into three stages;
    State Level Examination National Level Examination and Interview.

    Syllabus:

    1 Level Exam(State Level Exam):


    MAT The syllabus will comprise all fundamental lessons of verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

    SAT The syllabus for Mathematics, Science and Social Science will be broadly based on the prescribed respective State Board Syllabus from Std 10 (or in exceptions, Std 9) textbooks only.

    II Level Exam(National Level Exam):


    MAT The syllabus will comprise all fundamental lessons of verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
    SAT The Mathematics and Science questions will be asked from the chapters in the syllabus of class 9th and 10th (advanced level). Social Studies is completely based on the NCERT book for CBSE students for Class 9th and 10th.





    Reward: On the basis of the examination 1000 scholarships will be awarded. Students who are qualified all the stages successfully get the scholarship of RS.500/Month.
    Note:15% scholarships will be reserved for students belonging to the SC category, 7.5% scholarships for students belonging to the ST category and 3% for Physically Challenged group of students

    HELLO FRIENDS,

    PREPARATION FOR THE 10 STANDARD :

    NTSE stands for national talent search examination and it was standards for the year.

    Subjects of this exam:

    science

    social science

    engineering

    management and law

    medicine

    It was started to provide the financial assistant to financially talanted in the form of monthly scholorship.

    Attached the tentative syllabus for NTSE exam in this post through it and prepare for the topics.

    There are many books avaulable in the market which prepare for the NTSE exam.

    Information about NTSE:-
    1. The Scholarship in Basic Sciences is provided up to PhD level while in professional courses like engineering, medical, law and mgmt scholarship is provided up to post graduation.
    2. Total Scholarship: 1000
    3. Scholarship amount: Rs 500/month.
    4. Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% to ST and 3% to PH
    5. State quota is there in the first round while no state quota in the final award of the scholarship . It means for Example around 500 students would be selected for first stage from Maharashtra, but in second stage there is no fix number as selection would be based on merit and not based on states.
    6. Eligibility: Student of 10th class (this year) in current academic session.
    7. No domicile certificate required.
    8. There is Quota of the various states.
    9. Indian Students Studying Abroad in class X can appear directly for Stage II NTS Examination under conditions prescribed in the NTS brochure which is available on the NCERT website. Candidates may fill up the Application Form, available on the NCERT website and send to the undersigned along with a photocopy of the mark sheet of previous examination as per guidelines by NCERT.



    NTSE(National Talent Search Exam) is conducted by N.C.E.R.T Every Year.
    Through This exam,the selected candidates get the Scholarship amount for their study and other various helps from the Central Governments.

    For this examination if you are qualify for this, you will get a monthly stipend of 500 rupees to 1000 students of India.

    The NTSE stands for National Talent Search Examination which is as all India competition where meritorious students are provided scholarships by the government..

    The pattern of written examination for Class X will be as follows:-

    Stage II: Examination at the National level will comprise of (a) Mental Ability Test (MAT), (b) Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

    Scholarships: On the basis of the National Talent Search Examination, 1000 scholarships will be awarded. The amount of scholarship will be Rs.500/- per month.

    Selection procedure :-

    Identification of talent comprises a two-stage selection process.

    2.Second Level NTSE conducted at the National Level (usually in May) - FOR CLASS 11th STUDENTS ONLY.

    How to Apply for NTSE:-
    1. 1st stage is at state level, which is normally held in November. It is conducted at the state level. In some states, application form (July-August)can be downloaded from the website and in some states, you have to collect from the designated centres in the city.
    2. Submit/Send the completely filled application form as per the instructions on the form. Normally it should be attested by the principal of your school and send by the school authorities to the concerned state
    3. If you qualifies 1st round, then you are eligible for the 2nd round (national level) , the exam will be conducted in May next year.

    Examination in Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Andaman and Nicobar Islands 16th November, 2013

    Stage- II (National)

    Examination in All States and Union Territories - 11th May, 2014 (Sunday)
