    HI!
    After completing B.E in Mechanical engineering you have many scope like I.E.S/I.A.S/I.P.S/I.F.S etc.

    Friend if you want to earn good salary then you go for M.Tech or M.B.A.
    There are two course which have good demand in market.

    Friend if you want to do M.Tech from top govt college then you have to qualify the
    entrance exam like G.A.T.E. G.A.T.E exam is conducted by I.I.T Khargpur.

    If you want to do M.B.A from top college then you have to qualify the entrance exam like:-
    > C.AT
    > M.AT
    > G.M.AT
    > X.A.T
    etc

    GOOD LUCK!

    Re: Being a Mechanical engineering graduate which professional course is better for me to get a good job?

    dear , as a MECHANICAL GRADUATE , there is no need to go for any other course

    see , there are many government and private jobs for you

    There are many core compaies for you to get a job

    *** As you are having morethan 65% in your b.tech , you are eliglible fro most of the core companies entrance exams

    As a mechanical gradaute , the core company jobs are best suitable one for you

    ~~ To get a core company job , you should be well prepared in all your core subjects

    some core companies for you are ,

    ~~ BHEL
    ~~ BSNL
    ~~ IOCL
    ~~ ONGC
    ~~ SAIL
    ~~ GAIL
    ~~ ONGC
    ~~ MTNL
    ~~ ISRO , etc. .

    ** In ISRO , you can apply for the post of SCIENTIST also
    and this post , requires 65% in b.tech

    Re: Being a Mechanical engineering graduate which professional course is better for me to get a good job?

    Hi Buddy,

    It's strange that a student of mechanical engineering with a percentage of 72% and also having the knowledge of autocad didn't get a job yet.

    First me let me explain you the opportunities you have

    1. You are eligible for all jobs in govt sector as the cut off is 65% and you have 72%.
    2. You can also go for research oriented jobs in the field of nanotechnology in research institutes such as DRDO, ISRO, DRDL, BARC.
    3. Apart from your field you also have various choices such as Civil Services, Banking jobs, Software jobs etc.....

    But if you insist to be in your field then it's fair enough.

    --> Every year many organizations and public sector companies conduct recruitment's some of the companies are BHEL, NTPC, Power Grid, IOCL.
    --> The above mentioned companies have conducted recruitment through GATE in the year 2012.
    --> Either you're not interested in getting a job by competing with so many candidates or your not getting any updates about them.
    --> Frankly speaking by doing courses you won't be guaranteed with job, only if you can compete and secure a job only then you'll get a job.

    Remove all other things in mind and just make sure that you concentrate in applying for Public Sector companies and make a serious effort in getting a job. If you want to go for Higher Studies no specific courses are required for you as you already completed Auto CAD.
    All the best.

    * . Net
    * Mainframes
    * SAP
    * Java
    * PHP
    * Web designing

    Later ,if you want to attend for the walkins in MNC companies , then you should have a minimum of 60% in your B.tech

    some I.T. companies are ,

    INFOSYS
    YAHOO
    GOOGLE
    SYNTEL
    ACCENTURE
    MAHINDRA SATYAM
    CTS
    TCS
    ABG
    HCL , etc. . . .

    2) If you want to secure a Technical post in ,

    IOCL
    MTNL

    NTPC
    TRANSCO
    ZENCO , etc. .

    then you should have a minimum of 65% in B.tech
    or
    you should be a GATE ranker

    To get a job in these companies , you should get a good command in all your Core subjects

    3) If you want to go for furthur studies , then it is better to go for M.TECH .
