    Hi Friends....

....Definitely I will discuss about the topic that you are asked.Yah obviously you are eligible for bank po and clerical post examination because you are graduate as well as 12 passed. But there is one confusion that is you have scored 53% and 56% both the HSC level and graduation respectively, because for appearing in any govt as well central govt you have scored minimum 60% for general candidates. For details information regarding this entrance examination you should go through the official web site www.sbi.co.in and others bank website. You should not disappointed you have to move on..Wishing you a very good luck.

Re: Bank PO and Bank Clerk exam eligibility criteria? Type pf bank exam as per my qualification?

If you have a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university and your age is between 20-28 years then you can easily apply for bank clerk job under IBPS CWE system for 20 banks and relaxation in age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Category candidates.

If you have a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks and your age is between 20-30 years then you may apply for Bank PO exam under IBPS CWE system which is for 20 government sector banks and relaxation in upper age follows same as mentioned above.

If you have above mentioned qualification then you can apply for both bank clerk and PO exam

IBPS will announce the notification for next CWE PO exam around March 2012 at www.ibps.in and the exam possibly may be conducted around May-June 2013 so prepare hard for exam.

    All the best

Re: Bank PO and Bank Clerk exam eligibility criteria? Type pf bank exam as per my qualification?

    Dear aspirant,

-For IBPS clerk exam your age should be 18 to 28 years if you want to apply. For PO it is 18 to 30 years.

-There is age relaxation available for SC/ST ( 5 years), OBC ( 3 years), Physically handicapped and Ex- servicemen.

-So you can calculate whether you are eligible for IBPS clerk and PO exam or not.

-You must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university to be eligible for IBPS clerk and PO exam.

-Previously the eligibility for clerk was 10+2 but recently it is raised to graduation.

-You have to pass objective type paper and personal interview to become a clerk or PO in bank.

    BEST OF LUCK....

Re: Bank PO and Bank Clerk exam eligibility criteria? Type pf bank exam as per my qualification?

    Dear,

Based on the marks you have scored in 12th and graduation, you aren't eligible for the post
of PO in SBI as well as other centralized banks.
But you can prepare for the post of Clerks as the eligibility marks for this post is atleast 50% in 12th and graduation.

SBI conducts its recruitment exam on its own for SBi and its subsidiaries like
State Bank of Patiala, or State Bank of Mysore or State bank of Hyderabad
    or more of these subsidiaries.

IBPS conducts recruitment exams for 19 centralized banks for several posts like Clerical post,
    PO or the specialist officer.
Some of these centralized banks are:
    - Indian Bank
    - Bank of India
    - UCO Bank
    - Syndicate Bank.

The detailed eligibility is given below:
    For the post of PO:
    - Age should be between 21-28 years for general category and 3-5 years of relaxation is
    given to SC/ST category candidates.
    - You must have scored atleast 60% in graduation to be eligible for this post.

    For the post of CLerks
    - Age should be between 21-30 years for general category and 3-5 years of relaxation is
    given to SC/ST category candidates.
    - You must have scored atleast 50% in +2 and graduation to be eligible for this post.

Re: Bank PO and Bank Clerk exam eligibility criteria? Type pf bank exam as per my qualification?

IBPS i.e Institute for Banking Personnel Selection has the following criteria for both the clerk & Bank Po exam

Age : You must be in between 20-30 yrs of age, this is applicable for general category candidates
    For SC/ST : There's an extension of 5 years
For Persons with disablity : 10 yrs extension is there
For OBC (non-creamy layer) : 3 yrs relaxation is there

You need at least 50 % marks in graduation, they do not consider marks of 12th & 10th standard.

    Educational Qualification :
A degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Central Government Institute.

Other Exams you hold good chances according to the afore mentioned credentials and qualification by you are as follows:
    For Govt Jobs:

You can go for SSC (Short service commission exam) : There are three papers, you need to pass in the first level to give the remaining two, for notifications read employment news from a good newspaper

Also, LIC AO (Administrative Officer) : is a well-suited job, it's even better than Bank Po, in terms of salary & work pressure

Hope this helps, You did not mentioned in which discipline you did your graduation in, It would have helped us to make a complete research for your query so as to guide you further. As, you were concerned with Bank exams, you can opt for RBI & SBI exam, they hold separate exams for good positions in bank...
    Take care, all the best

P.S: Just keep preparing, general awareness is one topic which is required for almost all government exams these days, so always be in mode of preparation, so that you don't lose on your efficiency. Take care !!

The minimum education that is required for Bank aspirant is graduation pass for PO and Clerk post.

    - For PO some banks also demand minimum fifty-five percentage marks in graduation.

    - age limit for PO: 20-30 years.

    - age limit for clerk: 20-28 years.

    Age relaxation, only upper:

    1. OBC: 3 years.

    2. SC and ST: five years.

    Website:

    www.ibps.in

So you are having 56% so eligible for almost all banks.

You can also apply for civil services, police, railways etc.

Dear Friend,Your educational qualification is just apt for bank clerical exam. For that, all India level IBPS exam is being conducted. You may register for one exam, prepare well and write it.You have nit mentioned your graduation core or main subjects in HSE.Still you can write the clerical level exam. But with your qualifocation it is not possible to write,Bank PO exam. For that you need 60% aggregate in your graduation level.BANK PO post is highly lucrative than the clerical post,so is the competition and vacancy. Please write any improvement test so thst you may cross the marg

IBPS has still not announced its written exams notifications for the 2013 PO exams.
Advertisement for the written exams may be announced in March or April 2013 and written exams may be conducted in June or July 2013

As per the last PO exams notifications below is the Eligibilty:
    Graduation Pass.
Age should be between 21 and 30 years

OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

But Government appointed Khandelwal commitee has asked to change the minimum eligibilty criteria to apply for the PO exams.

Below is the eligibilty criteria sugessted by this committe.
Graduation Pass with Minimum 60% marks

Age should be between 21 and 30 years

If the above suggestion is accepted by IBPS than you would not be able to apply for the IBPS PO exams
