    dear friend.
sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear in iit-jee.
the minimum required percentage for iit-jee is:
    1. 60 for general and obc category.
    2. 55 for sc and st category.
since you dont have 60% in 12h thats why you are not eligible for that.
think about any other entrance exams other than iit-jee.
    all the best.

    dear friend,

i am sorry to say but unfortunately you are not eligible for IIT exam
as you haven't score minimum marks required for IIT exam

    eligibility for IIT exam is

candidate must be a 12th passed or 12th appearing from a recognised university
candidate must score minimum of 60% in PCM and in 12th also
candidate must be a Indian citizen

    age limit for IIT
    17 to 25 years

    maximum no. of attempts
    2 times in consecutive years

there is no other way to appear in the exam without scoring minimum marks

    but dont worry
there are many other exams you may apply for
like AIEEE which offers admission to NITs and IIITs
which are also among the top most colleges of India

    not elegible2.jpg

Sorry my friend you are not eligible to apply IIT-JEE Exam if you have not minimum percentage in 12th which is required to be eligible to apply IIT-JEE Exam.

    Minimum Qualifications :

You must have completed your 12th From a recognized central or state Board.

You must have at least 60% marks in 12th level.

You can attempt IIT Exam twice and in Consecutive years.

If you have 60% in your 12th with Physics,Chemistry and Maths then you can apply for IIT else you can not apply.

    aieee.jpeg

But if you have 55% in your 12th with Physics,Chemistry and Maths then you can apply for AIEEE exam , which also one of the best entrance exam.

Also you have other option which is state
entrance exam. State entrance exam always have minimum percentage in 12th near to 50%.

IIT JEE is the top rated engineering entrance examination...!!!
It is one of the best examination since by IITJEE you can get chance to the primer engineering institutes in INDIA i.e.e IITs

First I will like to tell you the detailed Eligibility conditions for IIT JEE
It will clear all your doubts regarding eligibility

    ~~ Eligibility Conditions ~~

    • PCM (physics Chemistry Maths) combination in your 12th
    • your marks aggregate in PCM should be 60%(for general candidates
    • ____________________________55% (for SC/ST)
    • you must have passed your 12th from a recognized university
    • candidates appearing for HS are eligible can apply
    • You can appear for 2 times in IIT JEE consecutively

BUT YOU MAY BE DENIED ADMISSION ON THE FOLLOWING GROUNDS

    • if you secure less than the MINIMUM required marks
    • if you fail in the HS in any major subject
    • if you fail to produce your mark sheet and degree certificate in IIT admission procedure

HENCE IT IS QUITE EVIDENT FROM THE ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS THAT YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE IIT JEE IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MINIMUM MARKS ....
YOUR APPLICATION FORM WILL BE REJECTED FOR SURE ...!!!

OR IF YOU ARE A STUDENT APPEARING HS, THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SIT IN THE EXAMINATION...
BUT YOU WILL NOT GET ADMISSION TO THE IITs AS DURING THE COUNSELING AND ADMISSION YOUR MARK SHEETS AND DEGREE CERTIFICATE WILL BE CHECKED THOROUGHLY!!!
SO GETTING LESS THAN THE MINIMUM MARKS WILL NOT GET YOU A SEAT IN THE IITs AT ANY COST!!
YOU HAVE TO SECURE THE MINIMUM MARKS ACCORDING TO YOUR CASTE...i.e. IF YOU ARE A SC CANDIDATE, YOU WILL GET 5% RELAXATION IN MARKS THAN THE GENERAL CANDIDATES MARKS CRITERIA OF 60%

Take good preparation and opt for the exam the very next year with full determination........ remember you can appear for it only 2 times consecutively!!

    ALL THE BEST!!!

    dear friend,

its sad to say but it is not possible for anyone to sit in IIT exam without scoring minimum marks in 12th required for IIT

    eligibility
anyone who is 12th passed or appearing for the final exam from a recognised university are eligible

one should score minimum of 60% in PCM as well as in 12th also

any candidate can appear for IIT exam only twice in his career in consecutive years

so any candidate who doesn't satisfy the above eligibility is not eligible to appear in IIT exam

and also there is no other way through which you can apply for the IIT exam without scoring minimum marks

but if you have secured 55% in PCM then you can apply for AIEEE exam

which is also among the best engineering exam

there is also state level exam for which you may apply for

The education qualification require for the IIT-JEE exam is below :
-> one should pass the 12th with PCM subjects and got minimum 60% marks for general and obc catagory , 55% for sc/st .
-> Overall marks in 12th will be 60% for general and obc cast , 55% for sc/st .

So You have to get atleast minimum marks otherwise you will not allow to give the exam .

The age should be between 17-25 .

So try to get good marks in 12th so that you are eligible for the exam .

From next year, IIT-JEE and AIEEE are going to merge into Single Entrance Exam.
If you want to be in IIT. Then, you will have to qualify IIT-Advanced Exam which is second phase of Single Entrance Exam.
Also, to be eligible for IIT-Advanced Exam, you will have to be in the top 20 % percentile of your Board.
Hence, from next year XII Board Marks will play a crucial factor for selection in Engineering Entrance Exams.

    Hello,
You can not appear for the exam if you are not having the required marks as 60% in PCM is the minimum eligibility criteria, you can sit for the improvement exam and improve your marks and then sit for the exam, Do remember that this exam can only be given twice in the consecutive years...
So prepare for the improvement exam and score good over there to open your doors for the IITJEE exam...

    Dear
First of all IIT-JEE stands for Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam.
1.The new pattern for iit will have two exams-mains and advanced exam.
    2. A necessary condition to be eligible for iit-jee is that student should be in top 20 percentile of his or her board. And will vary for different boards.
3.The final rank will depend upon on the performance in the advanced exam, provided a student is in the top 20 percentile of his or her board.
4.The age should be between 17-25 years.
    Best of lucků.

If your score is less than minimum elgibility marks for iit then may be your application form rejected or not taken in part of councelling of iit after qualifying the iit-jee.so better way is give aieee or any other entrance test in which you are eligible.best of luck...................

If you do not have the minimum marks required than you are not eligible to appear in the exam. You can go for AIEEE or state entrance exams or take admission in colleges through management quota. There are also exams conducted by colleges for admission in them. You can also fill improvement form to improve your percentage.

There will be a common entrance for ITTJEE and AIEEE from 2013 .So there will be two exams main and advanced .In that 40% weightage will be given for 12 marks. So it is better for you to give improvement exam and improve your percentage .Or else go for admission through management quota or state entrance exams.

Re: Appearing in IITJEE 2013 without minimum marks in 12th Board exam?

    dear friend,

first if you have not minimum marks which is required then you will no be able to appear for the exam
second from 2013 IIT will not be conducted

    for IIT
    • candidates need to be 12th passed from recognised board with pcm as compulsory subjects
    • candidataes should score minimum of 60% in pcm

candidates age should be between 17 to 25 years

ANY CANDIDATES CAN APPEAR FOR IIT MAXIMUM FOR 2 TIMES IN CONSECUTIVE YEARS

and there is no other way for appearing for the exam without scoring minimum marks

but from 2013 onwards a new exam
will be conducted which will replace IIT as well as AIEEE
this exam will be known as ISEET

    ISEET stands for
    Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test

this exam will be conducted by CBSE
    twice in a year

candidates will be allowed 4 attempts

    pattern of the exam

this exam will have 2 papers
    1. mains
    2. advanced

    topics for mains exam
    • reasoning
    • aptitude
    • english comprehensive
    topics for advanced exam
    science subjects like
    • physics
    • chemistry
    • maths
time alloted to both the exam will be 3 hours
    and
weightage given for both the exams will be 30%
and 40% will be given to marks of 12th

    so 30+30+40=100

so perfomance in all the 3 that is in
mains exam, advanced exam and in 12th class
    will decide your selction

    Hello dear
IIT JEE Top Ranker from Andhra Pradesh.jpg
If do not qualify the minimum eligibilty for iit jee then your admission form can be rejected and you don't receive the admit card for iit jee.So better way is not take the iit exam when you don't qualify the minimum eligibility marks.best of luck..............

Re: Appearing in IITJEE 2013 without minimum marks in 12th Board exam?

The minimum percentage require for appearing IIT-JEE exam is below :
-> In 12th minimum 60% in physics , maths and chemistry for general cast and 55% for other cast .
-> overall 12th percentage will be 60% for general cast , 55% for other cast .
    -> maximum 2 attempts are allowed .

As you got less than the required minimum percentage so that you will not eligible for the exam .

So go for the college directly without appearing the IIT-JEE exam .

    good luck

Re: Appearing in IITJEE 2013 without minimum marks in 12th Board exam?

    Dear all,
The eligibility criteria for IIT-JEE & AIEEE has been changed from 2013.
    iit-jee.jpg

According to this new system, two examinations will be held for admission into IITs and NITs.
First, all the students need to appear for Mains exam.
    From the
mains exam a total of top 1,50,000 were taken.
    For these 1,50,000,
    advance exam is conducted.

On the basis of Rank in advance exam, you will get seat in IITS & NITS.
To get seat in IIT, you need to be in top 20 percentile of your bord and get good rank in Advance exam.

    All the best
