    Am I eligible for IAS and PCS examinations?

    Respected Sir,My name is Shweta Keshri. I am doing Research in Vocal Music. I have qualified UGC NET EXAMINATION and awarded JRF [JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP] By UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION. My subject in high school were- Hindi, English, Science, Home Science, Music, and social Science. AND in INTERMEDIATE Subjects were- Hindi, English, Sociology, History, Music[Vocal]. I have done my Graduation in English Literature, Ancient Indian History-Culture and Archaeology, Music[Vocal]. And Post Graduation in Music[Vocal] by BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY.SIR, I want to ask you AM I ELIGIBLE FOR IAS AND PCS EXAMINATIONTHANKING YOUSHWETA KESHRI[JRF]RESEARCH SCHOLAR

    minimum eligibilty criteria to appear in the UPSC CSAT( CIVIL SERVICES APTITUDE TEST) CSAT is taken to appoint people for 24 positions like IAS, IPS, IFS etc.

    Graduation in any discipline

    Min age-21 years
    Max age-30 years
    3 years age relaxation is given to OBC candidates

    Max number of attempts -04

    so if you are below 30 years surely you can sit in the exam.

    There are three stages for the exam
    -prelims, Mains and interview

    Next Prelims exams will be held in May 2013 and forms can be filled in feb 2013

    so you can start preparing for the prelims

    Eligible Criteria
    The Applicant should be a citizen of India
    The Applicant must be Complete any degree in any reputed University or Reputed College
    The Applicant should have minimum of 50% percentage of Mark in the degree
    The Applicant Can Finish is degree under the subject mentioned : Physics,Chemistry,Statistics,Geology,Zoology,Mathe matics,Commerce,Computer Science,Law,Forestory

    Age Limit
    For General Candidate the Age limit is 21-30 years
    For SCST Candidate the Age limit is 21-35 years
    For OBC Candidate the Age limit is 21-33 years

    No of Attempts
    For General Candidate : 4 Attempts
    For SC/ST Candidate : Unlimited
    For OBC Candidate : 7 Attempts

    There are 3 Stage for Becoming a IAS
    Preliminary Exam
    Main Exam
    Personal Interview

    Question Pattern for the Preliminary Exam is

    Computer Knowledge
    Communication
    Logical reasoning
    Decision Making
    Analytical Reasoning

    Dear aspirant as you are graduate you are definitely eligible for the IAS PCS exam. So do not worry and start preparing for IAS PCS because you are eligible for it.

    IAS Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

    Age : For IAS you should be 21 to 30 years of age.

    The exam will IAS prelims then IAS mains and in the end Interview.

    Yes , you are eligible for the exam if you satisfy the below criteria for the exam .
    -> You should complete your graduation from any recognized university .

    -> your age should be below :
    21-30 for general cast
    21-33 for obc cast
    21-35 for sc/st cast
    21-40 for physically handicapped.

    The number of attempts that one can give .
    4 for general cast
    7 for obc cast
    no limit for sc/st cast

    The exam pattern is below :
    There are three rounds .
    1) preliminary exam
    2) main exam
    3) interview


    Preliminary exam consist two papers
    1.General Study
    2.Optional subject
    and one should pass this exam for qualifying for the next round .


    Main exam consists 9 descriptive type paper
    1-Any language defined in constitution of India
    2-english
    3-essay
    4-general study
    5-general study
    6-optional subject-1
    7-optional subject-1
    8-optional subject-2
    9-optional subject-2


    The first two papers marks are not considered but one should pass this two paper compulsory .

    So if you fulfill the above criteria then give the exam .

    HELLO ASPIRANTS,
    you wana give IAS exam ofcourse and i will you information about IAS exam eligibility
    1.You give UPSC exam after graduation apply for this exam.
    2.Age limit 21 to 30years
    3. exam will diveded 3 parts
    prelimanary, main and interview.
    4.Must be indian and unmarried.
    And you attempts 4 times for UPSC exam.IAS is toghest exam in indai so you prepare very well.focus only exam .

    dear friend,
    IAS(indian admistrative services) exam held every year twice , many candidates apply for this exam, and i want to say that , YES YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR GIVING THIS EXAM AS YOU ARE GRADUATE .

    now as far as eligibility criteria for this exam is concern , which is given as below:-
    - the candidate must have graduation degree in any course(like B.SC, B.COM, B.a).
    -regarding the age criteria :-
    1. for general category: 21-30 years
    2. for OBC category: 21-33years
    3. for SC?ST category:- 21-35 years.

    Hi guest, IAS i.e Indian administrative service exam is conducted by Upsc. You must fulfill certain conditions in order to appear in IAS exam. You must be an citizen of india. You must Passed graduation in any stream from the recognised university. Age limit for the general students is 21-30 years, for Obc students it is 21-33 years, and for sc/st it is 21-35 years. And for handicapped students 5 years more is given. The exam is divided in three times- preliminary exam, main exam and interview. Best of luck , study well

    YES! you are eligible for appearing in IAS exam.

    IAS - Indian Administrative Service. IAS exam is conduct by UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission )
    UPSC conduct IAS all India level.

    for IAS exam you must have a graduation degree in any stream from a university which is approved by AICTE.
    Age limit - 21 - 30 years.
    Age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidate is 5 & 3 years respectively.
    you must be physical fit .
    you must an Indian.


    NO. OF ATTEMPTS -
    GEN. - 4
    OBC - 7
    SC/ST - NO LIMIT
