Re: Am I eligible for CLAT after B.Tech?

    Hi,

CLAT is conducted for admission in Law courses at graduate and postgraduate level.

As you have done intermediate, you are eligible for LLB ( CLAT for undergraduate course)
But you might have crossed the upper age limit.

But though you are doing B.Tech, you will not be eligible for LLM ( CLAT for postgraduate course )

For this you should know the eligibility criteria for both.

    CLAT Common Law Admission Test

    Eligibility for Undergraduate course

10 +2 with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized school.

Age of the candidate should not be more than 20 years.

    Eligibility for postgraduate course

Candidate should have LLB degree or its equivalent from a recognized college with 555 % aggregate marks.

So, as per both the criteria, you are not eligible for CLAT exam.

Re: Am I eligible for CLAT after B.Tech?

Yes surely you can apply for CLAT if you want to apply for 3 years Law course after Graduation.

You must have 50% marks in the Graduation if you want to apply for CLAT.

Any Graduate can apply for it and you are B.Tech means no problem you are eligible for it.

Age should be below 30 years if you want to apply for the 3 years course after the Graduation.

The admission into 14 law Universities will be based on the CLAT. So don't worry and apply for it because notification are out.

The paper will be a objective type paper and negative marking will be there for the wrong answers.
