UPSE is conducting the CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam twice a year with the name--
    CDS I
    CDS II
CDS II has no relation with CDS I if you have not appeared in CDS I then also you can appear in CDS II exam.
All graduate men or women with the age between 18 to 25 years can apply for this exam.
There are three selection process of CDS--
    1. Written exam
    2. Interview by SSB(Service Selection Board)
    3. Medical test...
To qualify you need to pass all the stages........

    • Yes, you are eligibile for the for CDS(II) without writing CDS(I).
    • It is not a stage where completing of CDS (I) exam is necessary to appear in CDS (II) exam.
    • Union public service commission (UPSC) conducts the Combined defence services (CDS) examination every year twice.
    • Since it's conducted twice so it's stated as CDS I and CDS II.
    • For both graduation degree is necessary.
    • Both the examination is conducted for the entrance into the Indian military academy (IMA), Indian Air force (IAF), Indian Navy And officer training academy.
