You must have completed graduation with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC) from a recognized university..
Age must be between 21 to 30 years..

Written exams on behalf of 19 public sector banks for the PO post is conducted by IBPS (www.ibps.in)

Min eligibilty to appear in the IBPS PO written exams for PO post is graduation pass
Age should be between 21 and 30 years
OBC gets 3 years age relaxation and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxation

If you clear the IBPS written exam than you get the acore card which is valid for one year from the date of issuance
When banks advertise vacancy for PO post apart from the min IBPS score they specify min graduation percentage also

But since you have scored 60% you would be eligible for all banks

Total marks is calculated by taking aggregate marks of all years

Next IBPS PO exams will happen in the year 2013

Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO exam having minimum criteria of 60%? Aggregate of whole year will be calculated or final year only?

    Hi Friend,

Bank PO exam is conducted by IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selections):
To write this exam you need to posses some qualifications:
You have to complete your bachelor or masters degree with minimum of 60%(General category) and 55% in case of reserved category students from any recognized college or university or Institute by the government of India only.
Your age should be between 21-30 years and upper age relaxation is provided for reserved category
    21-33 years for OBC
    21-35 years for Sc/St and
21-40 years for PH category students.
You should be citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.

Dear friend, the aggregate of whole degree is calculated not one year or Final Year.
So, if you have 60%(General Category) whole aggregate without any backlog at the time of application within the age limit of IBPS PO exam, then you are eligible for this exam.
As you have mentioned that your total Aggregate marks are 60%. so, you are eligible for this exam.

    Thank you..
