UPSC conducts the Civil services exams each year for filling posts in 24 govt departments and these include IAS, IPS,IFS etc.

    Eligibilty:
    Graduation Pass

    AGE-
General candidates- Max age to apply is 30 years
OBC candidates-Max age to apply is 33 years
SC/ST candidates-Max age to apply is 35 years

    Attempts-
    General-4
    OBC-7
    SC/ST-No Restriction

Since you would be completing 34 years in Nov 2012 and the next UPSC prelims Exams notifications will come out in Feb 2013, So you would not be eligible to appear in the UPSC conducted Civil Services Exams
