    Am I eligible to appear in CAT if waiting for backlog result of B.E.?

    sir
    i passed my b.e. engineering this year
    bt there is a back result awaiting which
    is to be declared in the end of the year..
    am i eligible for cat in this year??????

    YES, you can apply for the CAT 2013 exams
    But you need to make sure that you pass your backlog paper by may 2014
    You should get the BE passing certificate by May 2014

    CAT 2013 exams forms are being filled right now

    Registrations: 5th Aug 2013 to 26th September 2013
    Exam dates: 16th October 2013 to 11th November 2013
    CAT result- 14th January 2014

    Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in CAT Exams: Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation;
    Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning

    Eligibilty to apply for the CAT exams is:
    Bachelors Degree pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks for General and OBC candidates and minimum 45% marks for the SC/ST candidates.
    Final year Bachelors Degree students can also apply

    Dear Friend,

    No you are not eligible for CAT if you have a pending backlog at the time of appearing in CAT. You have to clear your backlog first then you can appear in CAT.

    CAT ELIGIBILITY:



    -> Pass graduation or equivalent exam from ant recognized University.

    -> Final year graduation degree candidate can apply.

    -> Candidate need to score at least 50% in graduation.

    -> No minimum age limit in order to qualify for CAT.

    CAT Examination pattern:


    CAT is an Online aptitude test.All questions in CAT are Multiple Choice Type Questions.

    Duration of CAT Exam- 140 Minutes.

    Two papers in CAT:

    Paper I contains 30 question.

    Paper II contains 30 Questions.
