Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIIMS exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.Also you must score 50% in all above mention subjects.
For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Syllabus of AIIMS is depend upon your 12th exam. But in the AIIMS General Knowledge part.
The Entrance exam will be 3.5 hours duration and the paper consisting of 200 Objective Type.
Physics - 60 Questions.
Chemistry - 60 Questions
Biology - 60 Questions
General Knowledge - 20 Questions
Eligibility For AIIMS :
-You should completed your 12th exam with a minimum 60% marks in Physics,Chemistry and Biology and 50% Marks for SC/ST category.

EXAM PATTERN: The A.I.I.M.S written examination would comprise of only Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. There would be 200 questions from Physics,Chemistry,Biology and General Knowledge.Mind you one important thing.There would negative marking of -1/3 for every wrong answer. Each correct answer would fetch you 1 mark.
As far as the syllabus is concerned, its not difficult to cover if you study on a regular basis.However you have to be honest when it comes to study hours. I am attaching the entire detailed syllabus with this post.So go through it.Anyways best of luck for a bright career ahead.
