    Dear friend,

Eligibility criteria for next year is as follows:
    1. Mains exam: An exam is held for all aspirants for IIT and AIEEE.
Out of them 1,50,000 are choosen on the basis of merit.
    2. Advance exam: To these students an Advance exam is conducted and on the basis of ranks in the respective exams seats are given.

For joining IIT you must have good rank in advance exam and you also must belong to top 20 percentile of your board.

Re: AIEEE eligibility criteria for next year?

Next year there won't be a AIEEE exam .It will be combined with IIT to form a new exam named Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test(ISEET).The eligibility remains same just the selection pattern changes.Earlier the selection was based totally on marks attained in the entrance exam but now 40% weigtage will be given to the board marks so the cutoff cannot be predicted for the exam.Rest eligibility is same. You should have a 12 pass certificate with science stream along with maths.

Re: AIEEE eligibility criteria for next year?

    Dear friend,

From next year, there will be no AIEEE.
AIEEE exam will be completely replaced by IIT-Mains exam.
IIT-Mains exam will have different eligibility criteria and exam pattern in comparison to AIEEE.

However, there will be also IIT-Advanced Exam which will be commmenced after IIT-Mains Exam.
Since, Elgibility Criteria of IIT-Mains is not published yet.
It will be released along with the notifications in November.
So, you must wait upto November for its eligibility criteria and exam pattern.

However, you must not sit idle now.
You should start preparing for these exams because Syllabus will be same for the exams.

    • Logical Reasoning
    • Critical Reasoning
    Syllabus of ISEET 2013 Advance
ISEET ADVANCE will be in the model of solving given problems to check the student capability in solving science subjects problems. Like the MAIN it also has time period of 3 hours from 02.00PM to 05.00PM.
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • Mathematics
